Hailing from Barranquilla, Colombia, two-time Grammy-nominated artist-writer-producer Golden shares his Saoko Vol. 1 (Deluxe) out today via Global 7 Entertainment & Platoon. In celebration, Golden teamed up with Colombian superstar Zaider for his charming “La Esencia (Remix)” video out now. This visual offers a behind-the-scenes look at Golden and Zaider on set. "La Esencia (Remix)" is a "romantic, joyful Afro-Latino track that is both a love letter and an anthem to individuality, affirming that a real connection transcends any competition," says Golden.

Saoko Vol. 1 (Deluxe) is a vibrant tribute to Golden’s Afro-Latino roots, blending Afrobeats, Dancehall, and Latin rhythms to celebrate the rich musical heritage of Colombia. With three new tracks featuring Colombian and Caribbean artists Zaider, Xclusive, and Safa Gaw.

The album reimagines “Saoco” — a Salsa term for flavor, rhythm, and joy rooted in African culture — through a bold, contemporary Colombian lens. A colorful homage to culture and Afro-Caribbean sounds, Golden is a testament to the vibrancy and spirit of Colombia.
