The final night at Mopop is here and it was a hot one. On day one, it was all about fashion, fresh music, and pineapples in our heads. On Day two it was all about great vibes, right moves, and power ballads. The temperature was hot and the stay that with each artist stacking up to the top. Some did find the moment of cool off with trips to the Arcade or the local craft tent. Others were keeping their hands on the rails waiting for tonight as Big Sean made his Detroit homecoming performance. Some of those hardcore fans got a surprise too! Taylor had spent both days taking polaroids of each performance and handed them out to a few lucky front row fans.

What can we say that you don’t know already! Big Sean made his return to the stages of Detroit for a killer performance. Hitting all the favorites, he kept the excitement going with hit after hit. He even brought out Jhene Aiko back on stage for a few songs that they had created. The night was one for the books.

Khruangbin

Going into this set, we knew we were going to have one of the most unique experiences of our lives. As they started off with a few classic hits a small snag caused a small power outage. They were just too good for Mopop to continue on. Even with the small power outage, they made it work, DJ on the drums keeping the rhythm and Mark tapping alongside a glass bottle until Mopop Techs fixed the problem. The Moment the bass hit, it was on. No matter the issue, the fans were just as excited to see them nonetheless.
