Big Sean and the Return of Glass Animals? Sounds like Mopop is poppin this year
This is the Season for the best kind of treat! The official lineup of the Mopop Music Festival. Let us tell you this, we didn’t have Mopop ruining their track record of nonrepetitive artists. That’s right, after eight straight years, Mopop has brought back a past favorite to headline this year. Who’s the past favorite? Peanut butter vibes boys themselves Glass Animals. They join Big Sean in creating this year’s heading team. This year, Mopop is back and this time they are testing their luck at the Hart Plaza from July 30th - 31st. Hart Plaza which hosts the EDM music festival Movement is known for its 14-acre urban park at the nexus of Woodward and Jefferson. This is the third location Mopop music festival has called it home with the last several being at the Detroit Riverfront.

This will be the return of favorites but a homecoming as well. Will it be a homecoming for you too! We had the chance to check out the Mopop Music festival back in 2019. From Tame Impala to Vampire Weekend to Lizzo we got to share the memories with you and everyone at the festival. We cannot wait to do it all over again this year. We all know that 2020’s lineup would have been amazing but we all know what happen that year.
In addition to 10-plus hours of non-stop music each day, Mo Pop Festival will feature unique experiences throughout the festival grounds. The Craft Bazaar will highlight an assortment of handmade goods from a dozen local, talented crafts people curated by Handmade Detroit. The Shipyard will serve an assembled food experience of Detroit restaurants. Mo Pop Arcade, courtesy of Offworld Arcade, will spotlight the best in vintage video games and free gameplay, all in the comfort of an air-conditioned tent and the return of Haute to Death & Friends that brings Detroit’s most stylish and expressive dance party back to the fest.
This year, fans can get the option of upgrading their passes with Fast Lanes. So you can get to your favorite artist faster. General Admission this year for the whole weekend: $199 (Edit: As of now, we are at 4 Tier) and VIP Admission for the whole weekend: $399 (Edit: As of now, we are at 4 tier).
