TOKYO | SEPTEMBER 4, 2026 — Travis Japan are stepping into a sparkling new era. The seven-member J-pop group today announce their fourth studio album, Jewelry Basket, arriving November 18 via Universal Music Japan / Capitol Records.

Conceived by member Shizu (Shizuya Yoshizawa), Jewelry Basket takes inspiration from the timeless spirit of “classic idol entertainment” - the combination of music, dance, personality and showmanship that has long defined some of Japan's most beloved entertainers - and reimagines it through Travis Japan's own distinctly modern perspective.

At the heart of the album is a simple idea: seven members, seven different kinds of brilliance. Each member's individual personality and charm is represented as a jewel, with Jewelry Basket bringing all seven together into one larger, colorful world. The concept has been quietly unfolding since the album's release date was first revealed, as seven colorful gemstones began appearing across a special website and the group's social channels.

For Travis Japan, the concept also speaks directly to what has made the group stand apart. As much entertainers as recording artists, their identity has always been rooted in the complete performance: precision choreography, vocals, humor, charisma and the ability to turn a song into a show. Jewelry Basket celebrates that tradition while asking what it can look and sound like today.

Across the album, Travis Japan explore that idea from every angle. Sparkling pop songs capture the irresistible spirit of classic idols; performance-driven tracks put the group's formidable dance skills front and center; and songs shaped around their individual personalities give each member room to shine. Together, the record is designed not only to be heard, but experienced as a bright, uplifting celebration of everything Travis Japan do best.

The album will include their April 2026 single “KAGENIMO-HINATANIMO,” a sleek, fast-moving track built around the duality of light and shadow that served as the featured song for TV Asahi drama Zenbu, Anata no Tame Dakara, starring member Shime. Additional songs and the full tracklist will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Jewelry Basket arrives during a major period of growth for Travis Japan both at home in Japan and internationally. Their first three studio albums have each reached No. 1 across Billboard JAPAN's Top Albums Sales, Hot Albums and Download Albums charts, while their third album, 's travelers, extended the streak in December 2025. The group followed with a 30-show Japanese arena tour expected to reach 330,000 fans, while continuing to expand their presence in the U.S. and beyond.

That global story took another step forward this year with the premiere of their Disney+ travel docuseries, Travis Japan: Summer Vacation!! in the USA, filmed during a ten-day journey through the American West following their 2025 U.S. tour. The series brought audiences closer to the personalities and friendship behind Travis Japan, revealing the offstage chemistry that has become as central to the group as their famously precise performances.

Now, Jewelry Basket brings those seven personalities back together for the next evolution of Travis Japan: a celebration of individuality, chemistry and the pure joy of putting on a show.
