TOKYO – October 27, 2025 – Tokyo’s seven-member J-pop sensation, Travis Japan, is back with a brand-new single, “Disco Baby”, setting the stage for their highly anticipated third studio album, ’s travelers, dropping December 3, 2025 via Universal Music Japan / Capitol Records. Following the international success of their previous singles and sold-out Asia tours, “Disco Baby” marks a playful, high-energy return that blends disco, retro-pop, and the theatricality that Travis Japan has become known for.
“Disco Baby” is accompanied by a kaleidoscopic, high-energy music video set against the chaos of a high school prom. Travis Japan transforms the hallways, classrooms, and the gym into a stage, igniting a night full of dance, music, and youthful freedom. With spinning lights, sparkling mirrors, and comical, over-the-top performances, the video blends retro-pop, disco, and theatrical kitsch into a vibrant celebration of youth - a once-in-a-lifetime night that can never come again.
The forthcoming album, ’s travelers, produced by member Machu (Kaito Matsukura), is a time-traveling journey through the iconic sounds of the 70s, 80s, and 90s, reimagined in Travis Japan’s unique style. The album features hit singles like “Would You Like One”, the official theme song for Tabekko Doubutsu: THE MOVIE (internationally known as Dream Animals: THE MOVIE), “Say I do”, the theme for TV Asahi’s Honnou Switch starring Travis Japan leader Chaka (Kaito Miyachika), and “Tokyo Crazy Nights”, the theme for Tokyo Camouflage Hour featuring Machu. The album visual has an imaginative, strawberry-shaped spaceship motif - a nod to member Shime’s favorite fruit - that ties together the album’s whimsical, time-traveling concept.
Travis Japan’s momentum shows no signs of slowing. Following their second world tour, which brought the group to five major cities across the globe, including a special appearance at the 2025 World of Dance Finals in Los Angeles, thrilling international audiences with their signature dance-driven performances. To commemorate the three year anniversary since Travis Japan’s debut, the group will host a special YouTube livestream on October 28 at 10:30 p.m. (JP) / 9:30 a.m. (EDT), performing “Disco Baby” live for the very first time. Tune in here

ABOUT TRAVIS JAPAN
Travis Japan is a dynamic seven-member dance and pop sensation from Tokyo, blending modern, jazz, and hip-hop into electrifying performances. Formed in 2012 with guidance from legendary choreographer Travis Payne (known for work with Michael Jackson and Lady Gaga), the group has soared to acclaim in Japan and beyond. They’ve headlined their annual Japanesque spectacle TORA JA -NINJAPAN- and sold out three consecutive shows at Yokohama Arena (17,000 capacity) in 2020, followed by a 12-city national tour in 2021.
Their precision-driven dance routines and infectious pop sound caught global attention after appearing on World of Dance and America’s Got Talent, leading to a 2022 signing with Capitol Records/UMG. Their debut single, “JUST DANCE!”, made history as the first by a Japanese act to crack the Top 5 on Billboard’s Global Excl. U.S. chart, surpassing 10 million views.
In 2023, their debut album “Road To A” (symbolizing their quest for authenticity) showcased their artistic identity. By 2024, singles “T.G.I. Friday Night” and “Sweetest Tune” dominated Billboard Japan’s charts, both hitting No.1 on the Download Songs chart and No.2 on the HOT 100. That year, they embarked on their “Road to Authenticity” nationwide arena tour and launched a sold-out six-city world tour, cementing their international appeal.
In December 2024, they dropped their sophomore album ‘VIIsual’, featuring their 2024 chart-toppers alongside the bold new single “BO$$Y”. The release capped a landmark year, proving Travis Japan’s unstoppable momentum as they redefine global pop with high-octane performances and genre-blurring creativity.
