Co-written with Max Wolfgang [Olivia Dean, Ed Sheeran], “Too Busy Missing You” captures the lingering ache of heartbreak and the struggle to move on while grappling with the pain of an ex who has already found love with someone else. Asha shares, “‘Too Busy Missing You’ is about missing out on life whilst being hung up on someone. It describes a feeling I’d found hard to articulate until I started writing this song, so I really hope people relate!”
She continues, “I’m also so so excited that the song is being featured in the Prime Video series and soundtrack of Off Campus. Music for film and television has always been something I’ve been so interested in exploring, so having music in this highly anticipated show is a dream!”
“Too Busy Missing You” follows Banks’ recent collaborative EP with Welsh producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, and songwriter Novo Amor and English singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Lowswimmer titled Everything Is About You. Featuring tracks “Anymore,” “Lie To Me,” and “Hear Me Out,” Asha, Novo Amor, and Lowswimmer wrote and recorded the EP together in the Welsh countryside during a week of sessions earlier this year. The collective channeled a burst of inspiration fueled by their respective creative energy and admiration for one another. Everything Is About You represents a full circle moment, as Asha previously covered Novo Amor’s “State Lines” both online and on tour, as well as frequently featured him on her playlists.
Last year, Asha unveiled her sophomore EP, How Real Was It?. Beyond gathering millions of streams, it received widespread acclaim. Atwood Magazine christened her “one of the UK’s brightest emerging voices and a definitive artist to watch,” while HUNGER hailed the EP as “a pensive yet pop-fueled work, infused with the warmth of La-La Land.” NOTION declared, “It’s no surprise that she is fearless when it comes to commanding a crowd,” and DORK named her among its 2026 “Hype List.”
The world has already fallen in love with Asha Banks, enamored by her magnetic presence in-person and on-screen leading Prime Video’s global success My Fault: London and Netflix’s hit series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, among numerous other film and television credits, with Prime Video recently announcing the sequel Your Fault: London, out this June. However, music has always remained close to her heart. At barely six years old, she penned her very first song and forever harbored a dream of becoming an artist. Growing up, she intently listened to everyone from Joni Mitchell and Norah Jones to Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash, and AC/DC.
Asha recently wrapped her first-ever headline tour across North America, the UK, and Europe, with shows selling out within hours of going on sale. She has already received a slew of critical acclaim from press around the globe, featuring on the cover of Rollacoaster’s Autumn/Winter 2025 issue and gracing a special Digital Cover of NOTION, who proclaimed, “From starring in My Fault: London to releasing her debut EP, actor and singer Asha Banks is opening herself up in all its forms.” Not to mention, last year, she teamed up with BRIT Award-winning and Ivor Novello Award-nominated artist Holly Humberstone to collaborate on her fan favorite single “Dive.” It soundtracked the credits of My Fault: London and landed looks from DORK, The Line of Best Fit, and more, with Asha and Holly delivering a head-turning live rendition of the song at Queen Caroline’s Temple at Hyde Park in London—watch HERE.
Stay tuned for more to come from Asha Banks in 2026.
ABOUT ASHA BANKS:
Asha Banks shines as a consummate creative with an uncanny ability to tell stories across artistic mediums. She has captivated audiences on stage and on-screen as an actress, but she has truly pulled fans into her embrace as a singer and songwriter. She wrote her first tune as a child and never stopped obsessing over music. A quiet grind saw her achieve global renown thanks to starring roles in #1 Prime Video hit My Fault: London and Netflix’s A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. She will soon star in the next film in the trilogy, Your Fault: London and Season 2 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. Simultaneously, Asha generated millions of streams with her original singles, such as “So Green” and “Feel The Rush,” paving the way for the fan-favorite 2025 Untie My Tongue EP. Along the way, her journey would also be enthusiastically chronicled by everyone from NOTION to The Hollywood Reporter. Not to mention, she has ignited stages at BST Hyde Park and All Points East. Signing to Island Records in 2025, her light glows even brighter on her debut offering, How Real Was It?, out now.
