Rezz stopped by Detroit on Saturday, on the final days of the As The Pendulum Swings tour, and she made sure to leave a lasting impression on the fans. The tour supports Rezz’s fifth studio album, released in September, and reflects a more experimental chapter in her catalog. As The Pendulum Swings pulled from unreleased material in Rezz’s vault while introducing new collaborations with Dillon Francis, BRVMES, k?d, EDDIE, fknsyd, and more. The project also served as an extension of her artistry, acting as a visual vessel that expands her hypnotic vision across mediums.
The show kicked off with supporting acts like MLOTIK, Digital Ethos, and LYNX. With no time to spare after the killer set LYNX put on, she emerged without warning atop her vine-covered throne. Floors’ vibration was the only cue for the fans to get ready as she took full control over the night. From now to Midnight, she told the story of the night and made a few appearances through the screen appearance of a watcher keeping an eye on the fans. Those fans who traveled from Ontario to Ohio to get the chance to see and dance the night away.
