(Burbank, CA – January 30th, 2026) Dallas-based rock trio little image kick off 2026 with the release of their deeply introspective new single and video, “REAL ESTATE,” available today on all streaming platforms. The track serves as the latest chapter in the band’s evolving narrative and offers a glimpse into their forthcoming album, KILL THE GHOST, arriving March 27th via Hollywood Records.
“REAL ESTATE” stands out as one of little image’s most intimate and expressive tracks, delving into the journey of personal growth and the quiet work of transformation. Written by Jackson Simmons, Troy Bruner, Brandon Walters, and Abigail Jane Bruner, the song captures the tension of leaving old patterns behind and searching for clarity, weaving themes of reflection, renewal, and rediscovery into its core.
“’REAL ESTATE’ is one of the most personal and poetic songs we’ve written. It continues the story we began with the release of ‘KILL THE GHOST,’ shifting the focus to what happens after you’ve decided to grow beyond who you used to be. The song traces that quiet process of looking inward, uncovering what’s been buried, questioning old patterns, and rediscovering purpose in design.
Musically, ‘REAL ESTATE’ reflects that movement. The blend of major and minor chords creates a push and pull between tension and release, uncertainty, and clarity. The long instrumental
outro opens a space for the listener to sit with the emotions the song brings forward.
‘REAL ESTATE’ means a lot to us. It’s an invitation to experience our new album.”

Directed by Sawyer Skipper, the accompanying video uses night vision to create an eerie, intimate atmosphere that transforms ordinary moments into something surreal. As the visuals move into the woods, each member performs alone, reinforcing themes of isolation and introspection before converging for a powerful, atmospheric finale. The video relies on striking, metaphorical imagery rather than a traditional storyline, culminating in a surreal moment that amplifies the song’s emotional weight.
With this release, little image continues to expand their sonic and emotional palette, setting the stage for what’s to come. The upcoming album marks a bold new era for little image, following a year of growth and reinvention. Building on the themes introduced in their 2025 single “KILL THE GHOST,” the record explores transformation, resilience, and the pursuit of authenticity.
little image will launch their U.S. headline tour, KILL THE GHOST, on May 6th in Cambridge, MA, before wrapping on June 20th in Saint Louis, MO. (See full tour dates below.) The band spent 2025 captivating audiences across the globe, including a 20-city European tour with almost monday, a U.S. spring tour with Joywave, and a summer run supporting Bad Suns. Their dynamic live performances and growing fanbase continue to position them as one of the most exciting acts in alternative music today.
“REAL ESTATE,” the latest from little image, follows the band’s 2025 releases of “KILL THE GHOST,” “NOVOCAINE,” “RUN FOR FOREVER” and “THE PRESSURE” - five tracks written by the band after a year spent wrestling with personal and professional hurdles. Their debut album, SELF TITLED, dropped in May 2023 and catapulted the band into the spotlight, powered by the breakout single, "OUT OF MY MIND” - a chart-topping #1 on Alternative Radio.
Critics took notice. The Dallas Observer praised their versatility saying, “‘little image's aesthetic is but one component of the band's overall irresistible artistic package, which starts with the rocking pop flavor of the band's music.”

About little image:
Over more than a decade, Dallas trio little image has transformed from suburban kids obsessed with underground indie rock into the cohesive band they are today. Comprised of Jackson Simmons (vocals/guitar), Brandon Walters (bass/synth), and Troy Bruner (drums), the trio truly came into their own during the 2020 lockdown.
This period allowed them to experiment with creating pop-rock music beyond the traditional guitar/bass/drums setup. Their creative surge led to a partnership with Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, 5SOS), who provided a nurturing studio environment. This collaboration culminated in the release of their debut album, SELF TITLED, in May 2023, followed by a U.S. headline tour. The album, which tells a story of self-doubt, self-reflection, and self-love, scored the band their first #1 alternative radio hit, "OUT OF MY MIND.”
In 2025, little image released “KILL THE GHOST,” "RUN FOR FOREVER” and “THE PRESSURE, the first tracks of new music since their debut, followed by “NOVOCAINE.” After a challenging year in 2024, the band channeled their experiences into writing and recording their next album.
little image has toured with Panic! At The Disco and Colony House, and performed at festivals like Shakey Knees, Float Fest, and Wonderbus Music & Arts Festival. In 2025, they completed a 20-city European tour with almost monday and a summer run supporting Bad Suns in late June. They also joined Joywave on their Here To Perform… Spring 2025 tour.
With more new music on the way, little image is poised to make 2026 another landmark year.
