Los Angeles, CA | January 16, 2025 - Rising Glimmer Rock artist Vienna Vienna steps into a louder, groovier era today with the release of his new EP Entertain Me, out now via PULSE Records and Pete Wentz’s DCD2. A sharp, shimmering collection built for anyone running on overstimulation and impulse control issues, Entertain Me finds Vienna Vienna at his most self-aware and sonically playful yet, leaning into the chaos of modern life and turning it into something you can dance your way out of.
Across the EP, Vienna Vienna pulls the curtain back on the ways distraction shapes our lives, and how rhythm can pull us back into our bodies when nothing else does. “Sonically, I’m pulling my attention more toward the rhythm section than ever before,” he says. “It’s been important to get the grooves right first before even considering the rest of the puzzle. A good house needs a good foundation.” The project zooms in on familiar touchpoints - love, grief, home - but with sharper edges and clearer lines. “I’m writing about a lot of the same things but seeking to go a degree deeper into my own understanding,” he adds. “Whether it be drugs, the internet, or something more tangible, distractions pull focus away from reality. What’s the best way to get back into your own skin? Dance. I just really wanted to dance again.”
Alongside the EP, Vienna Vienna shares the official music video for his single “Molly.” The visual opens with J passed out on a sun-blasted front porch, makeup smeared and clothes still wrinkled from the night before, before trailing him through parking lots, liquor stores, garages, and city sidewalks in a hazy attempt to piece together what happened. Cutting between grimy, smoke-filled band performances and half-remembered morning-after wanderings, the video leans into the mess, capturing that familiar blur between chaos, regret, and clarity.
The release caps a run of singles that introduced this new phase of Vienna Vienna’s sonic universe. “Buzz” arrived with fuzzy guitars, punchy drums, and a cheeky tambourine, spinning his existential dread into an indie-rock snarl. Before that came “Idle Hands,” which bottled 80s pop sugar with modern indie rock bite, and “Company Hunting,” co-written with Justin Tranter, which sharpened his knack for taking deeply personal reflections and dressing them up as massive, hook-forward pop-rock. Across all three tracks, Vienna Vienna carved a lane that is distinctly his: funny, frantic, brutally honest, and surprisingly tender beneath the static.
With Entertain Me, Vienna Vienna pushes further into the world he’s been sketching over the past year - one built on rhythm, self-interrogation, queer joy, and a refusal to sand down the edges. “I know that whatever I make will always be unified by my love for the stage,” he says. “I’m not totally sure what comes next, but I’ll always be true to the reasons I started this project. I needed release, a voice, and a reason to perform. I think I’m still exactly who I was, just a little groovier now.”
With 2026 already shaping up to be a year of more music, more shows, and even more beautifully unhinged expansion, it’s safe to say Vienna Vienna is just getting warmed up.

ABOUT VIENNA VIENNA:
Vienna Vienna is always waiting for his next chance to take the stage, to electrify an audience with his signature Glimmer Rock sound. For J, the multi-instrumentalist behind the project, performance is catharsis, connection, and release. His debut EP Wonderland - released in October 2024 via PULSE Records and Pete Wentz’s DCD2 - introduced a world shaped by queerness, self-acceptance, and emotional release, establishing him as a rising voice within the alternative landscape.
In early 2025, he broke out with the viral single “God Save The Queens”, a defiant celebration of queer identity that amassed over one million streams and sparked a wave of fan support. Its neon-lit video, featuring RuPaul’s Drag Race star Salina Es Titties, became an instant rallying point for the LGBTQIA+ community, and a portion of proceeds from his limited-run merch supported the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
Onstage, Vienna Vienna is electric. His performances radiate emotional intensity, queer joy, and a magnetic unpredictability that feels both intimate and explosive. He captivated audiences on his support runs with K.Flay and Valley, and dazzled at headline shows across California, transforming every room into a space of communal release. As his fanbase continues to grow, so does the world he’s building - one where strangeness is celebrated, connection is central, and the live show is the beating heart of it all.
Now entering his new era with the Entertain Me EP, Vienna Vienna leans into groove-driven production and sharp, self-aware songwriting. Singles like “Idle Hands” and “Company Hunting” showcase his blend of 80s pop energy, modern indie rock, and introspective lyricism, including collaborations with hit songwriter Justin Tranter. Confident, cathartic, and a little bit chaotic, Vienna Vienna continues to build a world where strangeness is celebrated and community comes first.
