DESTROY LONELY ANNOUNCES NEW PROJECT </3 — OUT FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th; NEW TRACK AND VIDEO “JUMANJI” OUT NOW

SET TO JOIN PLAYBOI CARTI’S ANTAGONIST TOUR STARTING THIS OCTOBER

Groundbreaking artist Destroy Lonely officially announces his upcoming project, </3 (Broken Hearts 3), set for release this Friday, September 19th. The long-awaited next chapter was unveiled last nights with billboards across New York City and marks the third installment of his Broken Hearts series, which began in 2020. The official music video is out now, watch HERE.

This announcement comes as Lonely gears up to hit the road with Playboi Carti on the highly anticipated Antagonist Tour, kicking off in October. He’ll perform at arenas across the U.S. alongside Ken Carson, and Homixide Gang, marking the first time hitting the road as an Opium collective. Opening in Salt Lake City, UT on October 3, the tour will stop in major cities across the country including New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, his hometown of Atlanta and more. The tour will also have support from artist Apollo Red on all dates. Tickets are on sale now, see full routing below.

2025 has been a busy year for Lonely, who’s been cooking up new music while gracing the covers of Numéro Berlin and New Wave Magazine, where he began teasing what’s to come. Building on the success of last year’s LOVE LASTS FOREVER, which also debuted on Spotify’s Top Album charts in the U.S. and globally, Lonely earned his first No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and landed a Top 10 spot on the Billboard 200. He also performed at major festivals this year, including Rolling Loud Thailand and Rolling Loud Miami.

Following the success of his 2023 debut album, If Looks Could Kill, which hit No. 1 on Apple Music within 24 hours and garnered nearly 10 million Spotify streams, Lonely quickly established himself as a rising artist in hip-hop. The Gold-certified title track from his mixtape NO STYLIST, “NOSTYLIST,” along with his inclusion on numerous “Artists to Watch” lists from Rolling Stone, Complex, and Billboard, cemented his early critical acclaim. Since then, he’s continued to build momentum through high-profile collaborations, major festival performances, and creative ventures in fashion and lifestyle, setting the stage for the next chapter with </3.

About Destroy Lonely: In an age where it feels like nothing’s shocking anymore, the word “rockstar” is contentious, and punk can be seen as nothing more than an aesthetic to be consumed, Destroy Lonely is reevaluating and redefining all of those things. Born Bobby Sandimanie III, Lonely has quickly risen to prominence with each release he’s shared. His debut album, If Looks Could Kill, made a major impact, hitting No. 1 on Apple Music and amassing nearly 10 million streams on Spotify, following the success of his breakout single “NOSTYLIST,” now certified Gold by the RIAA. His rapid rise earned him “Artist to Watch” honors from Complex, Billboard, BET, Rolling Stone, and more. In 2024, he returned with LOVE LASTS FOREVER, blending Atlanta-rooted rap with a punk-infused sound. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Albums charts and secured a Top 10 spot on the Billboard 200. Most recently, he shared his see u soon </3 project on SoundCloud, giving fans a glimpse of what’s next. But Lonely’s influence extends far beyond music. He has collaborated with designer Matthew Williams on an exclusive merch collection, appeared in Marc Jacobs campaigns, designed a custom pair of Bose headphones, and worked alongside artists including Southside, Ken Carson, PinkPantheress, Quavo, and A$AP Nast. His live performances have graced major stages including Lollapalooza, Coachella, Summer Smash, and Rolling Loud, and he’s even walked in VETEMENTS’ show at Paris Fashion Week. Known for pairing bold styles—like wearing an Atlanta fitted cap with black-painted nails—Lonely constantly challenges expectations, both musically and visually. Through his music, he pushes boundaries and invites listeners into his evolving, post-apocalyptic universe, declaring, “It’s not a lifestyle, it’s life.” As he continues to grow as an artist, he remains committed to authenticity, using each project as a deeper exploration of his world.
