Cupid, also known as The Line Dance King, has shared the new version of “The Cookout” with Bun B and Paul Wall, available now on all DSPs via TOC MUSIC and SPARTA Distribution. Breathing new life into the original version, the trio encourage listeners to pour themselves a glass and head to the dance floor. Blending Cupid’s infectious energy with two new verses from Southern rap legends, the star-studded edition was produced by Rodnae (Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Birdman) and Mr. Phat (T-Pop, Vicious, Tina P.), adding a layer of Houston heat to the single.

The refreshed version of “The Cookout” arrives shortly after joining stand-up comedian, musician, and actor Lil Duval on “Go Auntie,” which was written by Cupid himself. The track is a celebration of the stylish, confident, two stepping aunties that keep every family function lit. The Line Dance King recently appeared on 4Shooter’s From The Block series, spotlighting his soulful vocals on viral song “Flex,” global dance craze "Cupid Shuffle," and his late 2024 release “Pop That Fan.”
Cupid “The Line Dance King” is a pioneering force in the line dance community, known for his infectious energy and innovative choreography. In 2008, the six-time multi-platinum artist broke the Guinness World Record for the largest line dance assembled with over 17,000 people in Atlanta at Ebony's Black Family Reunion Tour.
