In their first release of the year, San Diego band sullvn today unveils the irresistibly groovy new track “The Fighter.” Produced and co-written by Rome Rameriez of Sublime with Rome, the song boasts a modern pop sound, backed by a full band that calls back to decades past. sullvn plays into tactful innuendo as they tell the tale of the age-old pairing of a lover and a fighter — Stream.
Led by Robert “Sully” Sullivan, the ever-changing collective is built up of world-renowned, award winning players including the GRAMMY-nominated bassist James East (Lionel Richie, Toni Braxton, Eric Clapton), the highly sought after Afro-Cuban Latin jazz percussionist Nacho Sobres, globally renowned saxophonist Tomoka Nomura-Jarvis (Andy Grammer, Rob Wave, Fat Joe), and many others. A Southern California party in sonic form, sullvn breaks the mold as they soundtrack everything from a windows-down joyride to a swanky night at the lounge.

Over the coming months, sullvn will be spending more time out on the road bringing the joy of their live shows to more cities. In April, they will open for The Wailers in Venice, CA. And once festival season is in full swing, they will join the lineups of BeachLife Festival in Redondo Beach, CA, Fiesta Del Sol in Solano Beach, CA, and Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville, KY.
