You heard that right, we were there, and it was nothing we were prepared for. The concert took place at St. Andrew’s music hall.
Fans had a few options to get into the event: General Admission, Early entry, and VIP Entry. All had special perks of their own, but the VIP got them access to the Meet & Greet Photo Session after the show (Along with a custom laminate). Fans traveled across the country or border to catch the trio, not only did they travel they also camp out from nine in the morning to get the best spot for the night.
The night started out with a mini-podcast episode in the same setting that you would see Tablo would do for his podcast “The Tablo Podcast” for Dive Studio; in which he discusses what to expect for the Detroit show. Which include Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant and Detroit rapper Eminem.
The crowd erupts in excitement the moment the guys appear on stage hitting the ground running with their new titled ep “Strawberry”. Just when we thought we were going to go into one of their older songs, they jump straight into “On My Way” With Tablo singing Jackson Wang’s part of the song.
If you have been keeping an eye on the tour, you know that Tablo brings up the feature he did with RM of BTS but with a fun twist each tour date. By which we mean the story of how he got the feature on the song “All Day”. On this date, he made sure to make reference to the lyrics of “Eight Mile”. If you are wondering, he did perform that part of the song for the crowd.
They ended the set with everyone’s go-to favorites “Catch”, “Kill this love,” and “New Beautiful” It was a fun night for everyone and we couldn’t have it any other way.
