ATLANTA, GA — September 25, 2026 — Scattrbrain, the explosive full-band project from acclaimed Atlanta rapper and songwriter GRIP, shares the official music video for “Buzzworthy,” featuring fellow Atlanta artist Kenny Mason. The track appears on Scattrbrain’s 14-track debut album, Scattrbrain & The Unwavering Self Doubt, released September 9th.

Directed by Isaiah Fofana and starring Robert Rexx, the new visual brings another dimension to the world of Scattrbrain, a project built around GRIP’s genre-defying approach to storytelling, creative freedom and personal expression. Fofana shares, “This album extends a license to explore creativity, do something out of my comfort zone. I hoped to capture the tone and attitude of Buzzworthy with Robert and the insane crew of street bikers.”

Emerging from Atlanta’s hip-hop underground and once signed to Eminem’s Shady Records, GRIP built a reputation for his gritty lyricism, sharp social commentary and raw emotional depth. With Scattrbrain, he pushes that perspective into entirely new territory, channeling post-punk, grunge, hardcore and DIY energy through a full-band project that is loud, cathartic and deliberately difficult to categorize.

“Buzzworthy” brings together two distinct voices from Atlanta’s music scene, with Kenny Mason joining GRIP on a track that reflects the creative range of Scattrbrain’s debut. The collaboration is one of several featured on Scattrbrain & The Unwavering Self Doubt, which also includes appearances from Grouplove vocalist Hannah Hooper, Wara From The NBHD, and Aestrea.

Created alongside Grouplove bassist Daniel Gleason, producer/engineer T.J. Elias and a cast of Atlanta collaborators, Scattrbrain & The Unwavering Self Doubt is a cinematic, 14-track exploration of burnout, identity, addiction, industry disillusionment and self-doubt.

Drawing inspiration from the raw intensity of IDLES, the emotional depth of Radiohead, the spirit of Nirvana and the art-punk lineage of Iggy Pop, Wire and Public Image Ltd., the album pairs GRIP’s singular storytelling with distortion, live drums and an uninhibited vocal approach.

The release of the “Buzzworthy” official video follows Scattrbrain’s debut album release and recent appearance at Atlanta’s Mainline Music Festival. Having already shared stages with Ecca Vandal, Portugal The Man, and Manchester Orchestra, Scattrbrain will continue bringing the project to audiences this fall starting with a run of support dates with the Bobby Lees.
