Internationally acclaimed artist Lykke Li shares a brand new remix of "Lucky Again," reimagined by legendary Belgian producer and DJ The Magician. The collaboration marks a full-circle moment for two artists whose creative history has already left a lasting mark on electronic music. More than a decade after The Magician's iconic remix of Lykke Li's "I Follow Rivers" became a global phenomenon, surpassing one billion streams and cementing itself as one of the defining dance records of its generation, the pair reunite for a fresh interpretation of "Lucky Again."
Originally one of the emotional standouts from Lykke Li's latest album, The Afterparty, "Lucky Again" explores the fragile hope of finding light after heartbreak. The Magician elevates the track into an uplifting, late-night anthem, pairing Lykke Li's ethereal vocals with warm piano chords, shimmering synths, and the euphoric melodic house production that has made him one of the genre's most beloved producers.
The remix arrives amid a major new chapter for Lykke Li. He followed with acclaimed releases, including “Sunlight” feat. Years & Years, “Shy”, “You and Me”, “Hippies,” and “Love On You” with A-Trak, each reflecting his ability to merge club instinct with melodic depth.
Alongside his productions, The Magician has built a distinctive curatorial world through his Magic Tape series — a format that helped shape a generation’s approach to music discovery — and through Potion Records, his label dedicated to international talent and forward-thinking club music.
