ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM AVAILABLE NOW VIA EASY EYE SOUND

Rising alternative Boston rockers Fai Laci is proud to finally unveil their eagerly awaited full-length debut, Elephant In The Room, available today via Easy Eye Sound. Produced by Dan Auerbach at his Easy Eye Sound Studios in Nashville, the album is highlighted by the aspirational opening track, “Cure Upon The Hill,” available everywhere now.

“‘Cure Upon The Hill’ is about reaching for that higher thing and wondering if getting there will actually fill a void,” says Fai Laci founder and frontman Luke Faillaci. “The verse, chorus, and outro were all written months apart from each other giving the sections a distinct yet cohesive feel. This one was one of the most fun to record, and Dan Auerbach’s slide guitar part in the chorus might be my favorite part on the whole record.”

Elephant In The Room also includes such acclaimed tracks as the tender “She Knows” and the dynamic “Headlights,” both available now alongside official music videos streaming via YouTube. “Despite the grooving riffs and handclap punctuation, there’s a certain angst undergirding the track,” declared FLOOD in the latter’s exclusive premiere, “one that band leader Luke Faillaci attributes to the era in which it was written more so than the era that inspired it.

Hailed by Vanyaland for their “heavenly saunter,” Fai Laci are a band with a mission, and Elephant In The Room is the ideal vehicle to achieve it. The Boston-based quintet was founded by Luke Faillaci following the 2022 release of the first Fai Laci EP, Conversation, recorded in his college bedroom and highlighted by tracks such as “Five” and “Gypsy Lover,” both of which soon earned millions of streams worldwide thanks to their expressive vocals and urgent songcraft. With no real plan other than to make great music, Faillaci pulled together his closest and most dedicated musical friends – Michael Goldblatt, Zack Putnam, Cal Hamandi, and Anthony Cervone – and officially formed Fai Laci, releasing their second independent EP, Knock at My Door, in early 2024. A fervent grassroots following soon grew in the Northeast and beyond, resulting in increasingly larger live shows and total streams for both EPs now over 15M. Signing to Easy Eye Sound in 2025, Fai Laci built upon this momentum with a string of acclaimed singles, including “Elephant,” “Angels And The Others,” “Grains Of Sand” (featured on the cover of Spotify’s influential “New Noise” playlist), and the explosive “Have You Nothing Left To Say,” all joined by official music videos streaming now on YouTube.

Elephant In The Room now sees Fai Laci blending the urgency of punk and the stomp of glam with the theatricality of classic rock, all bound together by the band’s sharp swagger and Faillaci’s boundless charisma. The album showcases their inventive guitars and nimble rhythm section on such bangers as the decadent “Sarasota,” joined by an official music video which expertly encapsulates the unstoppable kinetic excitement of the band’s acclaimed live show. Confident and surprisingly diverse, with brazen rockers and bruised-heart ballads, Elephant In The Room instantly catapults Fai Laci to the forefront of alternative rock and beyond.

“We never set out to make a certain kind of sound,” says Faillaci. “It takes us wherever it takes us. We got more into the rock side of things on the album, but we also wanted to have some really beautiful songs on it. We wanted to have something for everybody.”
