“STRAYS” serves as Mad Tsai’s first release of 2026, kicking off the new year with a dynamic new sound. The track is written by Mad Tsai, co-written by Chloe Copoloff (JISOO, Sophie Powers, salem ilese) and produced by Adam Boukis (Loren Grey, Carly Rae Jepsen, Saweetie). “STRAYS” mixes elements of pop-punk, trap and hip-hop, putting an innovative twist on Mad’s traditional sound that his fans have come to know him for. “The song came to me as I wanted to write a song as a way of clapping back at people that talk about me online, letting them know that if they’re gonna talk, I might as well make it interesting,” Mad says. Prior to the release, the song garnered attention on TikTok, going viral through trends using the instrumental of the song.
“STRAYS” comes a couple of months after Mad Tsai signed with Rebellion Records, marking his first-ever global recording deal.
