Today, following a triumphant run since the release of her heralded 2026 album, A LITTLE VENGEANCE, Grammy-nominated and 6x Juno-winning singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez releases a deluxe version of her acclaimed third studio album — A LITTLE VENGEANCE (is more human than no vengeance at all), out now via FMLY / Island Records. The album arrives alongside a POLLSTAR cover story dropping today starring Reyez and highlighting her non-traditional, homegrown success on the live side, in an era when many tours are undersold or forced to cancel. A LITTLE VENGEANCE TOUR kicked off this week with shows in Seattle and Sacramento and continues tonight in Oakland, followed by sold-out shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Diego, Phoenix, Dallas, DC, and Boston. The deluxe album features bonus tracks that Jessie has been releasing once a week over the past few weeks, including “FOR SIXXX IN THE MORNIN (FEAT SAMARA CYN)”, “MADE 4 THIS”, and “SOVEREIGN LAND”, and her latest single “SOFTER”. The deluxe album pairs Reyez’s hard-hitting anthems with softer, melodic moments, extending the album’s knack for turning emotional chaos into song. Since its release, A LITTLE VENGEANCE has struck a chord with fans and critics alike, earning acclaim as one of Reyez's most vulnerable and compelling bodies of work to date and cementing her place among the year's standout releases. "99%" in particular has emerged as a defining moment for its unapologetic, no-holds-barred energy. The track joins a run of singles that built anticipation ahead of the album: the vulnerable and reflective "UR HEARTBEAT (WHO DO U THINK ABOUT AT 2 AM?)"; "AIN'T U TIRED" featuring Muni Long, a tender, otherworldly duet blending both artists' styles over a lush, heaven-sent melody; and "N.Y.F.F.," a sharp, rap-sung kiss-off. Together, these moments gave fans a glimpse into the emotional range of A LITTLE VENGEANCE, underscoring the album's signature duality of tender vulnerability and razor-sharp retribution.
On June 12th, the day of her album release and her birthday, Reyez performed in her hometown of Toronto for the FIFA World Cup 2026 Opening Ceremony, taking the stage with Palestinian singer-songwriter Elyanna for a special performance of their collaborative anthem "Illuminate". Following her earlier collaboration with producer Boi-1da on "I DARE YOU (TASTY)," a high-energy track that helped shape how Canada is heard around the world, Reyez's involvement in the ceremony further contributed to the celebration of Canada's identity and energy through music and community, as she helped kick off the FIFA World Cup for fans around the globe. Most recently, on October 21st, Reyez joined Jorja Smith, Corinne Bailey Rae, FLO, Lianne La Havas and more at London’s Roundhouse for Back to Black 20, a star-studded concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s landmark album, where she delivered a powerhouse rendition of “Rehab.”
Alongside the album, Reyez launched the Jessie Reyez Fund with strategic partner PLUS1, the nonprofit helping artists mobilize their communities for meaningful impact. Through the Fund, Jessie aims to expand access to opportunities in the music industry for women and historically underrepresented communities, while also supporting music-focused initiatives that strengthen underserved communities through education, wellbeing, cultural connection and preservation. The work has already begun in the background through select tour and partnership integrations, including a collaboration with Nando’s that resulted in 500 donated meals. Following the fund’s official launch, Jessie looks forward to sharing more about how the fund will continue to use music as a force for connection, empowerment and lasting impact.

ABOUT JESSIE REYEZ
A certified global phenomenon known for her fearless lyricism and emotive performances, Reyez’s releases have earned press praise from Rolling Stone, Harper’s Bazaar, Associated Press, T Magazine, Genius, People, GRAMMY.com, and more. In recent years, Reyez released her first book of poems, Words of a Goat Princess, contributed to Netflix’s Rebel Moon soundtrack with the single “Child of Fire,” and delivered a unique rendition of “Is This Love” featured on the Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired by the Film soundtrack, which went on to win a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album.
