AUGUST 29, 2025—Myd has released his anticipated new album Mydnight – out now via Ed Banger Records / Because Music.

The album has been previewed throughout the summer at Myd’s extensive run of DJ sets and live shows, and marks the boldest statement yet from the acclaimed French DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter.

To celebrate the release of Mydnight, Myd will be heading across North America this fall, bringing both DJ sets and his acclaimed new live show to some of the continent’s most iconic rooms. Stops include Montreal’s Newspeak (Nov 28), Toronto’s Mod Club (Nov 29), New York’s Public Records (Dec 4), Los Angeles’ 1720 (Dec 11), and San Francisco’s Monarch (Dec 12), before continuing into Mexico City (Dec 13). The new live show, which blurs the lines between fiction and reality via a pioneering multi-screen, multi-camera setup, has already wowed festival audiences in Europe and is now set to introduce North American crowds to Myd’s unique brand of mainstage greatness.

A kaleidoscopic journey through club euphoria, playful honesty, and technicolour emotion, Myd’s new album Mydnight features Myd’s own vocals on every track and a handpicked global cast of collaborators, including Channel Tres, Calcutta, Trueno, Carlita, Bethanie Home (aka Kacy Hill), and more.

1. Our Home
2. Song for You

Myd’s relentless schedule DJing across the world informs much of what appears on the album – he has taken in the sounds, personalities, and vibrancy of the many places he’s played in, and incorporated it all into a body of work greater than the sum of its parts.

There are the Samba rhythms and World Cup-esque whistles of single “So High,” the nuanced, fragile closeness on standout track “Be Someone New” featuring Bethanie Home, the infectious groove of previous single “All That Glitters Is Not Gold” featuring Channel Tres and Trueno – and recent live favourite “Sweatin’,” which samples the iconic 1974 track “How Long” by Ace.

Myd is also unafraid to dive headfirst into straight-up, dancefloor-focused house, as shown on “In My Head” featuring Carlita, “Made Me Feel Alive” and the monster album closer “The Wizard” – also now a live favorite. And then there’s “9am” – a tender and reflective track tailor-made for those who made it through the night and into the next morning.

On Mydnight, Myd bears it all. Everything he is as an artist and a human being has been put into this record, and it serves as a perfect snapshot of the stories and memories accrued over a busy few years, playing everywhere from the hallowed Pikes Ibiza to the Champions League Finals and the Paralympic Closing Ceremony in Paris.

ABOUT MYD:
Born in Lille, Northern France, Myd first rose to prominence as a member of genre-bending group Club Cheval, before finding his creative home as a solo artist on Ed Banger. His 2021 debut Born A Loser featured the viral Platinum-certified single ‘The Sun’, which took off across the US and Europe, and was followed by a sold-out Olympia headline show and a pivot into DJ sets that took him from Paris basements to Ibiza main rooms and Glastonbury and All Points East festival stages.

The period between his debut album and Mydnight saw Myd fully embrace the intersection of music, performance, and fan connection — from building a surreal lockdown-era variety show (CoMyd) to a recent week-long 24/7 Twitch stream where he finished Mydnight live on air, DJed impromptu parties, took phone-ins from fans, and even partook in yoga sessions.

Across three summers playing iconic Ibiza spots (including a now-legendary opening set in the toilets at Hï that led to eventually playing the main room), Myd found not only inspiration but validation — proof that his emotionally rich, often offbeat sound truly belonged in the club.

Mydnight is the joyful evolution of that vision: euphoric, melancholic, and defiantly fun. With this album, Myd is stripping back the layers, bearing it all, removing the mask of character or gimmick — and letting the music, and the dancefloor, speak for itself.
