SIGRID ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM "THERE’S ALWAYS MORE THAT I COULD SAY" OUT OCT 24

ANNOUNCES THIRD ALBUM
THERE’S ALWAYS MORE THAT I COULD SAY
TO BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 24, 2025 VIA ISLAND RECORDS
RELEASES ANTHEMIC NEW SINGLE “FORT KNOX”
Norwegian pop powerhouse Sigrid has announced her highly anticipated third studio album, There’s Always More That I Could Say, to be released on October 24, 2025, via Island Records. An eclectic album bursting with emotions and the joy of creating, There’s Always More That I Could Say, moves from dizzy infatuation to heartbreak and reflection with raw honesty and Sigrid’s signature soaring vocals and sky-high choruses. Written and co-produced with a renewed sense of creative freedom, Sigrid also shares jubilant new single “Fort Knox,” proving her position as one of her generation's best pop songwriters and vocalists. “Fort Knox,” which was named one of BBC Radio 1’s Hottest Records, is a masterclass in pop music, transforming rage into a defiant anthem. Making anger sound euphoric, Sigrid has become known for transforming frustration into fearless pop statements, from breakout hit “Don't Kill My Vibe” to top 10 single “Strangers.” Recorded in a rustic studio by the harbour in Bergen — the same creative home where much of her “Sucker Punch” album was made — “Fort Knox” is built around a pulsing synth bass and the unfiltered energy of Sigrid’s handheld vocal take. Channeling the rage that comes from heartbreak, the title nods to the famous U.S. military vault, a metaphor for the emotional armor we put up after being hurt. This time, I'm gonna lock my love in a box / And safeguard it like it's Fort Knox. “Fort Knox” follows “Jellyfish,” which showcased Sigrid’s playful, carefree side — a song she described as “easy, like a Scandinavian summer.” Both songs mark a return to instinct-led music-making after Sigrid stepped back from the pressures of “content culture” in 2024. Solo trips to remote corners of Norway, festival sets in South America, reignited her creative spark, paving the way for this new chapter with There’s Always More That I Could Say.

Sigrid’s discography is a testament to her ability to turn songs written at the piano into global pop forces, balancing vulnerability, power, and joy across every release. There’s the instant classic and breakthrough feminist anthem, “Don't Kill My Vibe” — her debut single that shouted independence over sky-scraping drum claps — and the disco strut of “Mirror,” channeling hard-won self-confidence into a glorious festival moment, and the top 10 smash “Strangers” tackled heartbreak with fearless honesty. That knack for forging gold in life's fires continues on Sigrid’s highly anticipated new music. Now 28, Sigrid is approaching love and loss from a wiser, more nuanced perspective.
After two sold-out global tours, over 2.2 billion global streams, and career-defining moments like performing on Glastonbury's The Other Stage, headlining London’s OVO Wembley Arena, Sigrid found herself in 2024 needing a reset. She stepped away from the pressure of "content culture" in writing rooms to rediscover the joy of making music simply for the love of it. Solo trips to remote parts of Norway, festival stages in South America, and cathartic late-night sessions with her band reignited her creative spark. Removing the pressure and embracing instinct – Sigrid started writing what felt good in the room, and “Fort Knox” and “Jellyfish” are the result of this headspace. Ed Sheeran also invited Sigrid to play to 28,000 fans at Ullevaal Stadium in her home of Oslo. Ed's band rehearsed Sigrid's breakout hit "Don't Kill My Vibe", and the video went viral, now standing at over 4M views.
