“Many spiritual and esoteric teachings talk about the idea that everybody is lost, even when they make it look like they’re not. I think you can either find chaos or comfort in that idea, and that’s what this song wrestles with.” Ella shares, “It’s deeply personal to me, from my bitterness against opportunists to being an opportunist myself, I ask myself if I’m willing to destroy this version of myself to start anew?”
