On a mission to make releasing music as fun as creating it, CVCHE’s singles soundtrack the levels in their custom-designed videogame where you guide CVCHE’s pixelated fish mascot and spiritual leader Fluffy through landscapes synced with the band’s music on a mission to save his reef. Making a name for themselves with their own brand of techno (a term used loosely and with love in the same way people say "salad" when referring to Jell-O with marshmallows in it), CVCHE’s singles – including previous releases “Welcome To CVCHE,” “Eyes of Darkness – A Novel by Dean Koontz,” and “Get Fluffy” – were created using a large collection of analog, vintage synthesizers from the band’s tiny sovereign nation in Canada where the only club in town is your own waxed floor.

First coming together in 2022 to remix Metric’s “All Come Crashing,” CVCHE began organically at Jimmy Shaw’s hideaway on a river in the Canadian countryside, a place which quickly became known for creative hangs, good food, great music, and its enviable “sock jams” – sliding around in big socks on a slippery wood floor to the downbeat techno of The Field, Jon Hopkins, and Boards of Canada. Inspired to make their own brand of “sock jam” techno, CVCHE began work on their upcoming debut album Get Fluffy.
