PREVIOUS SUPPORT FROM WONDERLAND, BBC RADIO 1 [MOLLIE KING] & MORE

17th July 2025 - Eighteen months since her critically acclaimed releases “James” and “Secret History”, ANGELIKA the rising singer-songwriter and Pop artist has returned with her latest euphoric single, “Feeling of Almost”. Housing previous support from Wonderland and BBC Radio 1’s Mollie King, ANGELIKA is wielding a fresh spelling of her name to accompany her re-emergence as we gear up for the release of her debut EP ‘MYTH’.

In the shimmering single "Feeling of Almost," ANGELIKA rediscovers the thrill of anticipation. Initially drafted at eighteen, fresh-faced and newly arrived in New York City, the song was conceived at two AM atop Columbia University's library, over drip coffee and contraband pizza. Inspired by a friend's observation that "there's no word for the feeling right before a kiss," the song pulses with the electricity of nearly realized desire. Wrapped in airy synths, dreamy vocals, and a heart-fluttering dance rhythm, it is a bittersweet tribute to girlhood, flirtation, and the tantalizing thrill of potential intimacy.

The early demos—recorded in New York basements with Joey Auch (Rachel Platten) and in Plan B’s King Cross Studio with Austin Jux Chandler (Adele, Ed Sheeran)—garnered early acclaim, earning the BMI Nashville songwriting award, now the Dolly Parton Scholarship, and catching the ear of Grammy-winning artist Kacey Musgraves. Ultimately, "Feeling of Almost" found its collaborator in producer Doug Schadt (Maggie Rogers' "Alaska"), setting the stage for an extended artistic partnership.

"Over time, the song, much like my awareness, has shapeshifted—it's become an ode to yearning, capturing that tantalizing, sometimes heartbreaking realization that at any moment, someone new could enter your life and change everything irrevocably.”
