Recorded on Analog Tape, Noizzy Releases Concept Heavy Album “Dreamland”
The band Noizzy makes a powerful return with Dreamland, a concept album released through Electric Funeral Records that goes beyond a simple collection of songs — it's an intense, emotional, and visceral journey. Recorded 100% in analog format at the renowned Forest Lab Studio under the production of Lisciel Franco, the album captures the band’s raw essence, delivering the potent energy that has defined their sound since their formation.
Dreamland dives deep into existential and contemporary themes with authenticity and depth, creating a universe where the line between reality and illusion is constantly blurred. The sonic narrative begins with “Fake”, a track that questions deceptive appearances, followed by “Addiction”, an analysis of fleeting pleasures and their destructive consequences.
The journey continues with “Time”, a meditation on the passage of time and existential emptiness, and “Cycle”, which explores repetitive patterns and the struggle to break old habits. The cry “STOP THE CYCLE” marks a breaking point, making way for “Here”, a track that brings breath, introspection, and transition.
In the second half of the album, the complexity of human relationships is portrayed in “Faces”, while “Sands” revisits the album’s dreamlike imagery, speaking of memory, loss, and transformation. “Wake Up” acts as an urgent call to reality before “Need” and “Not Enough” close the work with a reflection on desire, frustration, and the freedom that comes from acceptance.
Formed in 2009 in the countryside of São Paulo, Noizzy is composed of Romeu Dreadcore (vocals), Vitor Leandro (guitar), Ivan Sismon (bass), and Pepe DMarco (drums). With roots in metal, the band stands out for its authenticity, musical identity, intense live performances, and admirable professionalism. They’ve previously released one album and five singles, earning recognition at festivals and winning several awards.
In 2022, Noizzy drew attention with their independent music video Infinite Talking, which led to an invitation from Lisciel Franco to record at his studio. The band also took part in the debut episode of Tour Metal on Crash TV, where they were interviewed by Marcello Pompeu (Korzus), a Grammy winner and icon of Brazilian metal, who was impressed by the band and has already expressed interest in producing their next album.
With Dreamland, Noizzy reaffirms its relevance in the Brazilian metal scene, delivering a dense, honest, and artistically mature work. Get ready for a musical experience that provokes, moves, and transforms.
