March 14th, 2025 — Los Angeles, CA — Today, Cian Ducrot continues an incredibly winning run with “Little Dreaming,” an exuberant, glam-boosted celebration of being yourself out now via Darkroom / Polydor / Capitol. LISTEN HERE. Cian also shares a trailer for the upcoming official video which features Irish actors Lola Petticrew and Hazel Doupe from the acclaimed Disney+ series Say Nothing and Chris Walley from the cult comedy The Young Offenders. WATCH HERE.
The new single is the Irish singer-songwriter’s first since taking home the GRAMMY® Award for Best R&B Song for co-writing SZA’s “Saturn,” and follows his performance at last weekend’s pivotal Ireland vs. France rugby match, televised worldwide, where Cian was invited to sing both countries’ national anthems in honor of his Irish-French heritage. Cian also performed his track “Who’s Making You Feel It” during the halftime show. He is currently wrapping up the European and UK legs of Teddy Swims’ I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy Tour. “Little Dreaming” is a thrilling mix of dreamy modern pop and vintage, larger-than-life glam complete with an irrepressibly driving rhythm section, epic harmonic builds, and piano-pounding runs. The song is about being unabashedly true to who you are, which for Cian means an ecstatic dreamer and emotional conduit who dresses the part — a whirl of sequins and mascara and, often, every color in the rainbow: “I can take it full Picasso, I don’t care who wore it first / If it’s drunk tank pink, if it’s his or it’s hers / I can wear my favorite pearls, like all my favorite girls / If it looks good on them, then I can make it work!”
Said Cian, “I love how theatrical this one turned out. It feels reflective of my personality. It’s about reconnecting with your inner child, but also as an adult, doing what you want, expressing yourself, and not caring what anyone else thinks — hopefully breaking down those boundaries of toxic masculinity in the process.”
In January, Cian literally rang in 2025 with the new single “Who’s Making You Feel It,” a joyous piece of timeless piano pop with a big sound to match his celebrated ability to express big feelings in music. Cian debuted the song during his monumental New Year’s Eve show at Dublin Castle — broadcast live across Ireland — mere seconds before the countdown. He has also brought it and “Little Dreaming” to arenas and amphitheaters on the road with Swims, including two-night runs at London’s OVO Arena Wembley and Dublin’s 3Arena, where Cian’s just announced he’ll be headlining later this year. The new music follows a stage-setting 2024 that included Cian giving a history-making performance at Dublin’s intercontinental Portal sculpture, opening for Calum Scott’s North American tour, and scoring the ASCAP Vanguard Award in honor of his songwriting for SZA, Lauren Spencer Smith, and others. He also shared the breakup ballad “Can’t Even Hate You” and folk-pop gem “something I can’t afford.”
Hailing from Cork, Ireland, Cian emerged as one of 2023’s biggest breakouts thanks to his acclaimed debut LP, Victory, which went straight to No. 1 in the UK and Ireland. Featuring the UK Platinum viral sensation “All for You” and the Gold “I’ll Be Waiting” (both Top 20 hits), Victory also included deeply personal standouts like “Heaven,” winner of the RTÉ Choice Music Prize for Irish Song of the Year. He’s since amassed over 1.4 billion global streams powered in part by his tremendous social engagement.
Cian’s also proven himself live, bringing his heart-on-sleeve lyrics and raw voice to every performance, whether sparking choir-backed flash mobs in malls and trains, supporting Ed Sheeran or Jess Glynne on tour, appearing at festivals like Wales’ In It Together, or playing to 36,000 fans across a pair of headlining shows in Ireland last year. Stay tuned as Cian continues to pull back the curtain on his exciting new era.
