Bleed Electric lives outside of time. The NYC-based art collective praised for genre bending until they confess secrets (“lusciously bent,” “eclectic,” “a cinematic prophecy” ) — emerges from the shadows with the release of the “This Is My Masterpiece” music video which dropped December 5, 2025.
The group states, “We are not a band. We are an experiment, a prophecy, a cinematic vision. Every song is a fragment of a larger story. Every release, a transmission from a future envisioned long before its moment. We don't follow trends; we carve them into the fabric of what comes next. We don't chase relevance; we embody it. We call our sound ‘Future Fresh.’ And the future is now.”
Bleed Electric, the NYC-based art collective, has re-emerged. For years, Bleed Electric’s work survived only in fragments, memories, physical media and rumors. On October 31, 2012, Bleed Electric originally released This Is My Masterpiece — their most refined, final and complete work. Critics hailed it as eclectic, genre-defying, and unapologetically experimental.
Directed by MUG5, “This Is My Masterpiece” is a cinematic omen stitched from reality, hallucination, muscle memory, and digital delirium. Real landscapes dissolve into synthetic dreams. AI flickers like a ghost. VFX scars ripple. The boundary between human and machine collapses.
The heart of the message is a warning written sixteen years ago. Bleed Electric sensed the fracture. When they recorded “This Is My Masterpiece” in 2009, everything around them was crumbling — MUG5 was leaving Wales, their studio sold, their world dissolving beneath their feet. Everyone agreed “This Is My Masterpiece” was the end.
MUG5 explains: “This Is My Masterpiece” isn’t meant to reassure anyone. It’s meant to confront, disrupt, and disturb. It’s a mirror held to a world desperate to look away.”
Bleed Electric’s resurrection continues on February 26th, 2026, with the release of their reverse sophomore EP “Let The Invasion Begin,” Revealed in reverse, rewinding toward the source. The date, 26 | 26 | 26, is a trinity, aligning while signaling the next phase of Bleed Electric.
