TODAY’S RELEASE TIED TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF  MUK POSH LAUNCHING THEIR RECORD LABEL

“His music feels like a refuge of cozy moments you can bask in.”

“In the realm of alternative R&B, where soulful melodies meet deeply personal narratives, Sylo emerges as a luminary voice, captivating listeners with his introspective soundscapes

and vulnerable lyricism.”

Closing out the year in a style that is all his own, Sylo today releases the new single “Seraphine.” Now based in Mexico City and allowing the change of paces to shape his new music, the Korean-Canadian alt-R&B artist has a new edge. Sylo co-produced today’s single alongside Bobbing and Cole Williams who are known for their work with Still Woozy, The Hails, Maz and more. Dripping his voice over a bouncing, grooving bassline, Sylo calls out to the spellbinding femme fatale who has him on his knees — Stream / Watch the visualizer.

He shares, “Seraphine, so witchy and mysterious. The beauty in her feminine intuition, something you’ll always chase but can never truly have.”

Beginning in mid-January, Sylo will set out on his headline the harder you try Tour. Along the way, he will be supported by hevel, J.Y.N. and Monét Ngo, and he will make a stop at Chicago’s Tomorrow Never Knows Fest. And in February, Sylo will hop on a handful of dates with Latin R&B phenom Jesse Baez. See all upcoming dates here and below.

Long championed for his live-performance chops, Sylo has the prestigious NPR Tiny Desk Concert and COLORSxSTUDIOS sessions under his belt. Consequence said “There’s a quality to R&B artist Sylo’s voice that makes it feel like he’s in the room with the listener” and he plans to continue bringing this intimacy to his upcoming shows and new music slated for 2026. His release today is tied to the news that his longtime management company, Muk Posh, is now expanding into a record label and digital creator services.

ABOUT SYLO:

Sylo (formerly known as Sylo Nozra), a Korean-Canadian artist hailing from Toronto and currently based in Mexico City, is a rising luminary in the alternative R&B universe. His soulful melodies and deeply personal lyrics, influenced by his heritage, have earned him global recognition. His track "Ginny" has received worldwide acclaim, even catching the attention of K-Pop icons like NCT and BTS's Jungkook. His song “FOMO” also gained prominence after being featured in the hit Netflix series “On My Block.” Last year saw “Babyboo” ft. Nonso Amadi was featured in an ad campaign for SoundCloud x Hyundai.

Often recognized for the power of his performance to feel like it’s directed to only you, in his young career Sylo has already achieved the major milestones of playing a Tiny Desk Concert for NPR and a COLORSxSTUDIOS session. Following the release of his project Dreamt that I Was, Sylo has loved, lost and learned who he is striving to become next.
