“Over the course of 12 immaculately curated disco-pop jams, the four-piece band narrates a night out reveling in joy, sexuality and self-affirmation. The band’s production has been fine-tuned for the moment as well, with air-tight rhythms and well-crafted harmonies permeating each song on this deliciously fun new project.”

“Together, the Aces are like the Go-Go’s’ and the Bangles’ beautiful queer child. Yet the Aces never feel dated. Gold Star Baby is unabashedly disco, but its themes are fiercely current, reflecting the growth they’ve experienced as individuals and collectively.”

This summer’s hottest club is keeping its doors open for more good times as The Aces announce Gold Star Baby Deluxe will be released in February of 2026 via SoundOn. Originally released back in August, Gold Star Baby is a concept album that doesn't take itself too seriously. A metaphorical night club in every city where if you know…you know, everyone and anyone is invited to indulge in a celebration of queerness and escapist, sapphic, disco-pop fun.

The Aces today released the deluxe album’s first bonus track, “Square One.” A story of the two steps forward, one step backward approach to moving on from heartbreak, today’s single and deluxe album news were exclusively premiered by People MagazineStream the new single.

The band’s Alisa Ramirez shared, “I was in a place emotionally when we were writing ‘Square One’ where although a lot of time had passed since a heartbreak, the smallest thing could trigger all those feelings again. I felt really frustrated with the process of healing. I had to reckon with the fact that even though I so badly wanted to be moved on, I just wasn’t. You can't snap your fingers and tell your heart to mend back together, it doesn’t work that way. So this song was finally me accepting that and sitting in those emotions.”

Officially underway now, The Aces are out on the North American leg of the Gold Star Baby World Tour with support from Lydia Night, of The Regrettes. In February 2026, the tour will resume in the UK and Europe. Recently announced, The Aces will join Louis Tomlinson on his How Did We Get Here? arena tour throughout the month of June. Earlier this year, the band played at both All Things Go Festivals in New York and Washington DC. All upcoming tour information can be found here and below.

ABOUT THE ACES:

So far evolved from who they were when they first began releasing music in 2017, The Aces deserve the sense of celebration they feel in their new music. With 3 albums, over 250 million streams, and countless other milestones under their belts, sisters Cristal and Alisa Ramirez (lead vocals/guitar and drums), Katie Henderson (lead guitar/vocals), and McKenna Petty (bass) are in full form on their 4th LP Gold Star Baby, out now via SoundOn.

Billboard called the record “12 immaculately curated disco-pop jams” and SPIN said “Gold Star Baby marks a turning point for a group often told they’re too rock to be pop and too pop to be rock.” Continuing to reach new heights, the band has become who they always set out to be and are having the most fun while doing it.

The Aces have toured with the likes of 5 Seconds of Summer, X Ambassadors, The Vamps, and COIN, and have played at festivals all over the world, including NY Pride, Lollapalooza, All Things Go, Firefly, Bonnaroo, OUTFEST, Sziget, Pukkelpop and more. During their 2023 headline tour they sold out the international run across the UK, Australia & Japan. In 2024, they opened for Chappell Roan at Kentucky Pride and supported Goth Babe on a US run. They are currently out on the North American leg of their headline tour, with EU/UK dates early next year before they hit the road with Louis Tomlinson.
