It’s finally here! After building anticipation with buzzing singles and stirring up excitement throughout the culture, rapidly rising Kansas City hip-hop disruptor SleazyWorld Go unveils his anxiously awaited debut album, More Than A Shooter, today. Listen HERE via Island Records. RIAA Diamond-certified powerhouse Turbo notably helmed this body of work as Executive Producer, giving it an unparalleled level of cohesion in the process.

The duo spent a week together in Sleazys home studio in Kansas City—where many of his original hits were born. Sleazy brought Turbo into his creative space, fostering an authentic connection that led to the creation of 10-12 new songs in just a few days. Audiences will immediately recognize his “Run That Back Turbo” tag-line in each song’s opening verse. Their bond, both as artists and men, helped craft what they call “the greatest story never told.” Sleazy sought to elevate the production, while Turbo added an avant-garde touch, shaping the album’s sound into the masterpiece it became.

To celebrate the record’s arrival, SleazyWorld Go just shared the cinematic music video for the latest single “Ole Ole” shot in his hometown Kansas City, MO. Watch HERE. Solely produced by Turbo, they pulled in a local Kansas City Choir to add depth to the record encompassing so many heartfelt moments including Sleazy’s new born daughter being present in the studio during the recording.

Directed by Nick Mays, the accompanying visual offers a window into the Kansas City neighborhood he calls home. He raps outside surrounded by friends, neighbors, and children as the camera ominously surveys the streets and his world.

Elsewhere on More Than A Shooter, he leans into island flavors on the breezy and bright “Turks & Caicos.Acoustic guitar wraps around a sultry beat as he issues an invitation, “Have you ever been to Turks & Caicos?” Then, there’s “Trying To Heal. Tense hi-hats skitter as he sheds his scars over the beat. He reassures multiple times, “I’m almost healed from the pain and the trauma I’ve been through.
