LOVE,SHAUN RELEASES IRRESISTIBLE NEW SINGLE “NOTHING FEELS THE SAME”
Scottish producer Love,Shaun returns with the propulsive new single “Nothing Feels The Same,” out today via Astralwerks. Listen HERE. Built around the titular refrain and bolstered by bold, infectious beats and jittering atmospherics, the heartfelt anthem is an emotional call to the dancefloor. It follows on the heels of the newcomer's acclaimed single "The Heat."
“Nothing feels the same,” Love,Shaun declares over an energizing ramp-up that carries all the way to a momentous drop, giving way to pulse-pounding synths infused with aching longing. During his short tenure, the rising producer has already shown himself to be more than capable of wrapping his club tracks with profound, emotional concepts. And this time, he’s upped the ante —presenting a song that devastates with its jarring insight while coaxing listeners to move.
“Nothing Feels The Same” is the first new music from Love,Shaun since the release of “The Heat,” which has already found a fan in BBC Radio 1’s DJ Danny Howard, who called it a "breakout banger" and spun it on the enormously influential Dance Party. BBC Radio 1’s Jesse Iszatt also introduced Love,Shaun as "an artist you NEED to know." Check out Shaun's interview here.
Prior to “The Heat,” Love,Shaun made his major-label debut with the addictive "The Rush”, priming listeners for exciting things on the horizon. From an early age, the artist had a knack for creating melodies that spark interest among listeners. Beginning with composing his first songs on his Casio keyboard at a young age to collaborating with artists during studio sessions in London, Love,Shaun has lent innovative ideas to his music compositions, creating songs that highlight the power of connection between music lovers.
Love,Shaun played his first show at a Coachella 2023 party, marking his arrival in the competitive world of electronic music thanks to the success of viral songs "Good Times" and "Waiting." After posting those demos on SoundCloud, he found organic traction with the play count hitting over 1M streams. The rising artist will showcase his DJ skills yet again when he teams up with good friend Rory James for a club night in Glasgow called Motion, starting May 25. No doubt, “Nothing Feels The Same” will feature prominently in Love,Shaun's setlist given its ability to get hearts pumping and spirits soaring.
