December 13, 2024 | Nashville, TN – East Nashville-based music group 3Sirens proudly releases Every Possible Way, a compilation of 90s classics reimagined by an eclectic lineup of contemporary artists to raise awareness and funds for gun violence prevention. Curated and produced by Dan Molad (Lucius, Coco), the album brings together artists including Lucius, Delacey, Joseph, Deep Sea Diver, and more, each lending their voices to this project with the intent to inspire change. United under one mission, each track serves as a musical tribute to lives impacted by gun violence and a call to action for stronger safety measures.
Closing out the album are two final tracks that speak to both the warmth and urgency of this project. Coco—a trio comprising Maia Friedman (Dirty Projectors), Oliver Hill (Pavo Pavo), and Molad himself—celebrates the 30th anniversary of Weezer’s Blue Album with a comforting, doo-wop-inspired take on “Holiday," bringing seasonal warmth to the song’s alternative roots. “It was our pleasure to contribute a cover for Everytown’s work. We hope to manifest a less violent world through the joyful interconnectedness of music,” says Molad.
Liz Cooper’s rendition of The Verve’s “Bittersweet Symphony” brings a breathy, indie folk-rock energy to one of the most iconic tracks of the 90s, adding a layer of introspection and urgency that powerfully closes the album. Known for her fusion of indie rock, folk, and psychedelic influences, Cooper’s version is a transformative homage that resonates with the album’s mission and impact. She shares, “I’m so excited and proud to be a part of the Every Possible Way compilation! To be included with such amazing artists and to be involved with the Everytown For Gun Safety Support Fund is an incredible opportunity to raise money as a collective of music lovers and to stand up against gun violence. I chose to cover The Verve’s ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ because it’s the ultimate nostalgic 90’s vibe that I never wanna stop listening to.”
This project, born from the tragedy of the Covenant School shooting in Nashville, channels the power of music into a campaign for a safer future, with proceeds benefiting Everytown For Gun Safety Support Fund. In addition to the musicians involved in the project, Every Possible Way has seen support from the artists behind the original tracks, including Yo La Tengo, Elastica, The Magnetic Fields, and Third Eye Blind.
Available now on all streaming platforms, Every Possible Way invites listeners to participate by streaming, sharing, and contributing to Everytown’s cause. Through these musical contributions, 3Sirens hopes to amplify the voices of communities affected by gun violence and inspire a legacy of change.
