'EVERY POSSIBLE WAY' COMPILATION OUT DECEMBER 13

WITH COVERS BY LUCIUS, DELACEY, JOSEPH, LIZ COOPER & MORE

Singer/songwriter duo The Grahams deliver a powerful and emotionally resonant rendition of The Flaming Lips’ iconic track, Waitin' for a Superman,” as part of the upcoming Every Possible Way charity compilation. Their heartfelt interpretation promises to captivate listeners and underscore the compilation's core mission of raising awareness for gun violence prevention.

“As artists, we are in the unique position to bring people together and reach a large audience and so it is vital that we use our voices to support what’s right for our national and global community. Participating in this compilation was not only a political statement but a personal mission to help (in whatever small way we can) stop gun violence in America,” The Grahams shared. “As parents of a five-year-old, this is tantamount to our lives. We chose the song, ‘Waitin’ for a Superman,’ by The Flaming Lips because it rang true for us in today’s tumultuous and unsure political environment. Upon further thought, perhaps we should change the lyrics to, ‘Waitin’ for a Superwoman!’”

The full Every Possible Way compilation features 10 reimagined 90s classics by artists like Weezer, The Verve, and Jimmy Eat World—reinterpreted by talents such as Lucius, Delacey, Joseph, and Liz Cooper. Releasing on December 13th, with individual tracks rolling out weekly on all major streaming platforms, the project aims to raise awareness for gun violence prevention. In support of this cause, 3Sirens will donate to Everytown For Gun Safety Support Fund to help further their mission.

The Grahams:

Alyssa and Doug Graham have been together for more than three decades, and they’ve been making music together—as kids growing up in Jersey, across the New York City jazz scene, and officially as The Grahams—for nearly as long.

A decade ago, the duo made a plan and a promise: three concept albums in ten years, exploring America and its music. They spent a year on a Mississippi riverboat, absorbing the “swampy” sensibility for their 2013 debut, Riverman’s Daughter. For 2015’s Glory Bound, they crisscrossed the country by train, playing roots music inspired by life on the railroad. For the trilogy’s final installment, they blazed down Route 66 on motorcycle, writing the roaring, genre-defying Kids Like Us.

Ten years and a pandemic EP later (2021’s Sha La La), the all-consuming project has come to a close, but The Grahams aren’t the same as when they started. Now parents to a young daughter, founders of a burgeoning label (Nashville’s 3Sirens), and musicians with a growing bent toward indie pop, the band is seeing things differently. But for a new chapter to begin, the last one needed a proper bookend. They decided to honor a decade of musicianship by releasing a self-titled album featuring ten tracks from across their career, re-recorded to define who they are now and sounding truly like themselves.
