BREAKOUT POP ARTIST ISABEL LAROSA RELEASES NEW SINGLE “eyes don’t lie”

Earlier this year, Isabel LaRosa found herself in a whirlwind, releasing her highly anticipated EP, YOU FEAR THE GOD THAT LOVES YOU, just as she concluded a sold-out nationwide tour with pop star Nessa Barrett. Today, the breakout artist releases her newest single, “eyes don’t lie” via Slumbo Labs/RCA Records – click here to listen.

“I wanted this song to create a specific feeling,” shares LaRosa. “I wanted it to create that feeling of tension that happens when two people communicate just through eye contact. It’s all about the thoughts behind having an unspoken connection with someone and how magnetic the unknown can be.”

LaRosa’s meteoric rise to success can certainly be attributed – at least in part – to her distinct vulnerability, which is highlighted by her ONES TO WATCH cover story for their current summer issue. The writer states she “crafts coming-of-age tales about infatuation and heartbreak like no other.”

Across all her releases – including the super-viral track “i’m yours,” LaRosa has garnered close to 400 million streams worldwide and 1.4 billion short-form video views. Her music has been featured on flagship Spotify playlists like Today’s Top Hits, Fresh Finds, and Pop Rising, as well as Breakthrough Pop and Brand New Music on Amazon, and New Music Daily and New In Pop on Apple.

About Isabel LaRosa:

Born in Annapolis, MD, LaRosa’s upbringing surrounded her with music. Her dad would take her to mic nights and jazz clubs growing up where he played the saxophone and her brother played guitar. Inspired by the musical influences around her, she began songwriting with her brother in elementary school and from there, the creative duo was formed. Fast forward to present day, LaRosa still writes and produces music solely with her brother (and producer) Thomas in her bedroom while also currently finishing high school online. Isabel and Thomas collaborate to create music for specific atmospheres, vibes, and scenes – whether it's biking through the foggy dimly lit streets of your hometown at midnight or walking home alone from a party and feeling like someone is watching you. LaRosa’s sound mixes different styles of pop music; from bedroom electric-pop to hyper-pop to indie pop and more. The imagery for her visuals is inspired by thriller and horror movies/shows such as Stranger Things and Get Out.
