Young Athena's exposure to a wide range of musical genres from a young age can be attributed to her upbringing in London. Her mother, an Opera singer, and her father, a rapper, played key roles in shaping her musical journey, along with inspirations from inner city life - including social issues, teenage love, coming-of-age experiences, internet culture, and personal self-discovery.
Notable achievements include becoming a Mastercard UK Ambassador through their Artist Accelerator program, which led to a performance on Billboard's YouTube Channel and a performance at the AIG Women's Golf Open. Her music has been featured on BBC Introducing, which later earned a key interview on BBC Radio London and many other UK stations. She has also graced the stages of London Fashion Week's House of Ikons and made her international debut at the New Skool Rules Music Festival in Rotterdam.
