#Spotlight Channel Tres live at the Masonic Temple

We found the best person to kick off the summer of music and his name is Channel Tres. We caught up with Channel Tres on Flume’s tour at the Masonic Temple in Detroit. For someone who takes inspo in the Detroit techno scene, it seems fitting to find the comfort in the crowd energy. The vibes were very classy with the added spice of new material in the mix.

Our favorite tracks to check out:

Acid in my Blood (His latest song out)

Fuego ft. Tyler the Creator

Willow

Naked -TOKiMONSTA His Featured tack

Skate Depot (Which you can watch the music video right here)

This was his last spot on his tour with Flume and he made sure to make it memorable. This is however not his last tour of the year as Channel Tres will be on a festival circuit.

More About Channel Tres:

Starting with 2018’s “Controller”, Channel Tres has blended the drive of Detroit Techno and the silky smooth grooves of Chicago house with the snarl of West Coast rap. His music is no longer the secret that dance DJs maybe had wished it would stay. For the last couple of years, Channel has toured the world and found fans from Elton John to Tyler the Creator.

For Channel, Music is about reconnecting with his own history whether it’s in his lyrics, or through the influences and musical history, he uncovers in his productions. It was Channel’s Voice that truly opened the door for him. An effortlessly deep baritone that drapes itself over his instrumentals, appearing and disappearing in service of the song like a modern-day James Brown.
