#RisingArtist: We met Arthur the Artiste*, you should too!
Today, we like to introduce you to someone who might even make James Taylor do a double-take. As we introduce you to Arthur the Artiste* (Astrieck included). New and vulnerable to the music world, we cannot wait for you to hear our conversation with him. It was a pleasure to hear his start and to see what a little pandemic can do with oneself. Self-taught (Youtube University is what he tells everyone) and ready to show what he has to give, Arthur the Artiste* might make you add a few new tracks to your playlist. To all the lonely people, to those that go days without speaking a word to anyone, and to those who wonder if life gets better, I’ve been there. And in many ways, I’m still there. But a couple of years ago I embarked on a journey that changed my life. I fell in love. I journaled the highs, the lows, the trials, and the tribulations of a relationship that never was. I had never thought of myself as a musician, yet here I was on my own—in a land far from home—expressing into song the words I couldn’t speak to the world. And I ran with it. I saw music as my means of escape. Along the way, I got out of my cave, became the Artiste*, and made friends who helped me finally muster the courage to share my story. So today, from my home, I present to you a journey out of isolation. A tale born from loneliness. My album. “Project Dreams.” Project Dreams" (single)"Project Dreams" is a chill and melancholic singer/songwriter folk song. Inspired by the Charles Baudelaire symbolist French poem "Les Projets," the song is about the natural human tendency to want what we can't have. As such the idea, for this lonely boy, is that keeping dreams as a place where my soul can escape for leisure is better than going out of my way to make them a reality if they are so destined to disappoint me. Because, like in Chekov's play, "The Seagull" looks better flying gracefully in the sky than dead in my hands.

Arthur Forcione a.k.a “Arthur The Artiste*” is a multi-talented singer-songwriter who is ready to change the status quo of the music industry. A very different and uniquely wired musician Arthurisn’t afraid to break the rules and push the boundaries of our perception with his deeply layered and well-crafted songwriting. Born in Miami Beach, Florida, and raised in New York City. His drive, focus, and tenacity will him to become a relentless and emerging force in the independent-pop circuit. He attended a French high school and found his passion for creativity in his later years. He graduated from the University of Chicago and worked in finance for a short spell before turning to music as the vehicle by which he would express himself.
He uses his experiences and musical acumen to create a combination of unique and experimental sounds that often dabble in multiple genres and result in alternative fusions that are still firmly stitched together by emotive undertones. Arthur cites icons such as Daft Punk, Avicii, Kanye, Kid Cudi, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Bob Dylan, and Billie Eilish as pivotal influences in his music. This all culminates in Arthur The Artiste* producing an enjoyable, and easygoing musical experience that is authentic and grounded in reality. His overarching ambition is to make music that has a fun and creative edge. He is driven by the desire to help people realize that they can be heroes in their own lives and communities through his gift. He also wants to impact lives through his music and to create a legacy that's different unique and memorable.
Arthur The Artiste* has 3 projects in his repertoire namely "Back To The Start", "Somebody", and"Goodbye Future Stranger". He will be releasing his debut album “Project Dreams" which will showcase his songwriting skills, his innovative musical ideas, and will highlight his passion and love for music as an art form. In his upcoming project, he explores various themes by delving deeper into the emotions that encompass the human psyche. He wrote, performed, produced, mixed every song, and played all the instruments. The talented enigma is here to change the game and leave an indelible mark in the industry.
