Today, rising singer-songwriter BJRNCK returns with her new single, “Coming Home” featuring fellow Chicago native G Herbo, available now via Interscope / Geffen Records alongside an official music video. Serving as the first release from the forthcoming deluxe edition of her debut project, A Girl Like Me, the record finds the two artists offering their own perspectives on love, distance, and the hope of reconciliation.

Built around BJRNCK’s soulful vocals and emotionally raw songwriting, “Coming Home” captures the emotional fallout of a relationship coming apart, while G Herbo offers an equally honest perspective on wanting to make things right. Directed by SALTY, the accompanying music video is set against the backdrop of Chicago and plays like a modern love story, capturing two people processing heartbreak from opposite sides of the same relationship.

“Coming Home hits different for me because it brought two Chicago natives back to where it all started. Getting G Herbo on a classic rnb feel, and then going back to the city to shoot the video, made everything feel authentic in a way you can’t fake”

The release marks the beginning of BJRNCK's next chapter as she prepares to unveil the deluxe edition of A Girl Like Me. BJRNCK recently wrapped her first headline “A Girl Like Me” tour with shows in Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York. With more new music on the horizon, she continues to establish herself as an artist unafraid to tell the truth through her music. More information can be found HERE.

MORE ABOUT BJRNCK:

Grammy nominated artist BJRNCK is redefining modern R&B, blending timeless melodies with raw, unfiltered storytelling. Inspired by the rich, emotive sound of ‘90s and early 2000s R&B, she brings honesty back to the genre—whether she’s reflecting on past relationships, embracing her soft side, or standing firm in her independence. Raised in Chicago, BJRNCK found her voice in the church, where she honed the soulful delivery that now defines her sound. She later transitioned into recording, landing guest features with icons like Babyface and Omarion before dropping her debut single, "Real", in 2020. Her momentum continued with a Billboard 100 chart placement on Omarion’s "Taking Off." After stepping back to refocus, she returns with a renewed artistic vision, bringing raw honesty and emotion to this new chapter of her career.. BJRNCK feels that R&B has lost its honesty and authenticity, drifting away from the raw emotion that once defined the genre. With her new music, she’s bringing that nostalgia back, redefining the genre with a fresh, unapologetic vibe that’s all her own.

MORE ABOUT G HERBO:

“It's like finding your roots, getting in touch with your old self and that hunger you had when you first started, the energy that made the world fall in love with Lil Herb,” says G Herbo of his new project, Lil Herb. Named after the moniker he broke through with 15 years ago, it’s both an album and a time machine. After helping invent and globalize Chicago drill, launching the Swervin Through Stress nonprofit, and scoring his biggest hit, “Went Legit” off his 2024 mixtape Greatest Rapper Alive (14M direct-to-fan streams), Herbo is now reaching back and looking forward. He recorded 100 songs over a year, revisited old favorites, and returned to Chicago studios with his day-ones. The result blends soulful hip hop, menacing drill, and a handful of exciting guest features that elevate the project’s full-circle feel. “I'm at the finish line… I'm in full control of my destiny now. I've finished the marathon I started when I was 16, when I was Lil Herb.”
