There is a moment — somewhere between the first drink and the last record of the night — when the music stops being background and starts being the only truth in the room. Noelle Scaggs has spent nearly two decades living inside that moment, commanding stages across the globe as a founding force behind the multi-platinum band Fitz & The Tantrums. Now, she steps forward alone — and entirely on her own terms — with her debut solo album, Money Fame Love, out today via Adventures With Scaggs LLC / Scaggs Entertainment Inc.

This is not a departure. It is an arrival. Money Fame Love is the record Scaggs has been assembling in her bones for years — written across continents, born in nightclubs and quiet rooms in Los Angeles, London, Bucharest, and Saint-Brieuc, France, and shaped by the kind of fearless creative intimacy that only comes when an artist stops waiting for permission. Nine songs. No label. No committee. Just a woman, her collaborators, and the music that made her.

"This album is about giving myself a chance to shine in my own light. I created an album with my friends, doing what I love to do most in this world — traveling and making art." —Noelle Scaggs

The sound lands somewhere between the dancefloor and the subconscious — a hybrid electro-pop project threaded with house, R&B, alt-pop, and urban electricity. Think Robyn's Body Talk: pop that refuses sentimentality, dance music that refuses to be empty. The album moves through genres the way Scaggs herself has moved through cities — fluently, hungrily, without apology. Pulsating, percussive, and alive with the energy of the clubs that shaped its creator: Lisbon day parties, Mexico City nights, underground floors in London and Bucharest.

Scaggs produced two tracks entirely on her own — the opening spoken-word manifesto "Get Loose" and the Crystal Waters-nodding "Diamonds On The Floor" — asserting her production voice with the same confidence she brings to every stage she has ever owned. The remaining seven tracks were built alongside an international team of sonic architects, anchored by principal producer Serban Cazan (co-producer of Jennie's "Mantra," Rita Ora's "You & I," Fitz & The Tantrums' "Young Days"), with mixing by Rafael Fadul (Dua Lipa, Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber's "Stuck With You").

The album stretches across nearly two decades of songwriting — the eldest track, "World Stop," first written in Los Angeles in 2008 still feels urgently of the moment. It closes with "Man's World," a synth-wave ballad that moves through resignation into collective awakening; not a protest, but a prophecy. Money Fame Love asks the questions that don't have clean answers — about wealth, desire, power, and what we leave behind — and it dances while asking them.

ABOUT NOELLE SCAGGS:

Noelle Scaggs is best known as the powerhouse co-lead vocalist of the multi-platinum band Fitz and The Tantrums, whose hits "Out of My League" and "The Walker" helped define a decade of genre-blurring pop-soul energy. She has made history alongside artists like Gwen Stefani and Lorde, shared stages with OneRepublic and Bruno Mars, and collaborated with Chromeo and The Black Eyed Peas — spending nearly two decades building a reputation as one of the most commanding vocalists and performers in contemporary music.

Now, she enters her own orbit. Money Fame Love — her debut solo LP — was recorded across Los Angeles, London, Bucharest, and France with Serban Cazan, BadMilk, Jean-François Pierre of Yelle, Mr. Hudson, LA James, and Brock Westover Jr., and mixed by Rafael Fadul, with two tracks produced entirely by Scaggs herself.
