Band To Play Reading & Leeds
April, 2026 (Santa Monica, California) – Rising alt-rock band People I’ve Met will release Bunny, their debut EP, on May 1 via Interscope Records. Pre-order / pre-save HERE. The trio – which features vocalist/guitarist Moses Martin, drummer Orlando Wiltshire, and bassist Andrew Suster – will celebrate the release with a May 2 show at Mercury Lounge. This summer, the band will play its first-ever festival, performing in the UK at Reading (August 28) and Leeds (August 29).
On Bunny, People I’ve Met deliver a selection of songs that alchemize painful emotions into something transcendent. Produced by the band and Noah Conrad (Chappell Roan, Role Model), the EP elegantly drifts from the ethereal sprawl of first single “Promise” – a tender outpouring of post-breakup regret that NME praised for its “euphoric chorus” – to the punchy catharsis of “For Hire,” a spirited refusal to live in the margins of someone’s heart. In a prime example of the band’s sophisticated musicality, “Loving One” opens as an achingly sparse, acoustic-guitar-led expression of longing, then morphs into a gorgeous torrent of thunderous drums and shimmering guitar tones in its epic second half.
“A large part of making this EP was bringing in those sounds that capture the feeling of when the song first took shape,” Andrew Suster explains. “Those parts may not be technically perfect, but the emotion really carries through.”
The trio first came together as a band in Los Angeles during high school, recording songs in Wiltshire’s garage. People I’ve Met began performing live after relocating to the East Coast for college in the fall of 2024. With Martin based in Providence and his bandmates in New York City, the trio soon developed a magnetic live set. In addition to a run of tour dates supporting Royel Otis in 2025, they played a series of shows at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right.
“We want our songs to feel like a world you can step into,” says Martin. “Something you can get lost in and come back changed.”
