BEARTOOTH Shares New Single "Free" & Signs To Fearless Records

BEARTOOTH
SHARES NEW SINGLE “FREE”
SIGNS TO FEARLESS RECORDS
ON TOUR NOW AS DIRECT SUPPORT FOR BAD OMENS:
UPCOMING SHOWS INCLUDE STOPS AT PRUDENTIAL CENTER IN NEWARK, NJ + KIA FORUM IN LOS ANGELES
Today, Beartooth return with a new single, “Free,” a seismic-sized song that is powerful, loud, and crushing in equal measure. The track was co-written and co-produced by Jordan Fish and marks both the band’s first new music since 2023 and the start of a bold new era after signing to Fearless Records. The song arrives as they are on the road for a North American arena tour as the direct support for Bad Omens.
Where past records chronicled survival, “Free” marks a turning point, capturing a moment of clarity inside chaos. Beartooth’s frontman Caleb Shomo states: “‘Free’ is the start of the next chapter of my music and my life. The emotional roller coaster that is living can be very complicated at times. In one day you can equally experience pure fear and pure joy. This song shows a glimpse of what is to come from the next Beartooth album, which is the most honest depiction of my soul I will most likely ever make.” Listen/share “Free” here and watch the video, directed by Meg Gamez, here:
Shomo further notes: “Fearless has empowered me as an artist like nothing I’ve ever experienced. They all truly love what they do, and it shows in the work. They go about their business with humility and a hunger for joy. At the end of the day, they care about the music and supporting the people involved. Their ability to spread that support to artists and listeners alike is truly beautiful and I couldn’t be more proud to sign a deal with Fearless."
Fearless Records’ President Andy Serrao shares, “Fearless Records is proud to have Beartooth on the roster. We’ve been watching their growth as fans for many years, and now, we are excited to be partners. “Free” is the perfect start to this next chapter.”
More than a decade into their career and with over 1.3 billion streams worldwide, Beartooth have spent years channeling raw, unfiltered emotion into music that resonates with millions. With one RIAA-certified platinum single and one gold single under their belt, 2023’s The Surface cemented the band’s place at the top of the rock world, delivering back-to-back #1 singles at Active Rock radio and a #1 Billboard Hard Rock album.
Now, with new music and a new label home, the band is taking the momentum into arenas as direct support for Bad Omens on their North American tour. The run kicked off on February 22nd in Salt Lake City and will hit Newark, NJ’s Prudential Center on March 10 and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on March 26 before concluding the following night at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, CA. Tickets are on sale here, and all dates are listed below.

About Beartooth
In 2013, Caleb Shomo locked himself in a basement studio in Ohio - screaming and singing, playing every instrument, self-producing a batch of furious but melodic songs with no intention of returning to the heavy music world that had burned him as a teen. What came out was Beartooth: both bomb and balm, an outright refusal to suffer in silence, weaponizing radio-ready bombast and raw emotion against noise-rock chaos. Over the course of 6 studio albums, Beartooth has since “developed into a unique and dynamic beast” (Rolling Stone) with Forbes calling them a band “inching towards a tipping point of becoming the latest arena headliner." The catalog is anchored by intensity, honesty, and connection and they have topped the Rock and Alternative charts and landed on several Best Rock/Metal Albums of the Year lists. 2023’s The Surface went further still, debuting at #1 on Billboard's Hard Rock Albums chart and delivering back-to-back #1 singles at Active Rock and Mainstream Rock radio. With over 1.3 billion streams worldwide, one RIAA-certified platinum single, one gold single, and a new era just beginning with Fearless Records, that tipping point has arrived.
