Forest wades through "Prosthetic Stars," tour with Clarion begins next month

FOREST SHARES “PROSTHETIC STARS”
LOS ANGELES ARTIST’S MELODICALLY CRUSHING
NEW SINGLE PREMIERES TODAY - LISTEN
SUPPORTING CLARION ON TOUR THROUGHOUT NORTH AMERICA THIS SPRING, BEGINNING MARCH 31 AT LARIMER LOUNGE IN DENVER, CO
Today, Forest is excited to share her new single “Prosthetic Stars,” available everywhere now. The Los Angeles, CA artist arrives armed with stadium-ready riffs and brightly toned synths, which soar lightly beneath Forest’s powerful vocals, creating a sense of emotional gravity that swells rather than explodes. Filled with desire and discomfort, drums anchor the melodically boisterous song, keeping in time with the urgency of the moment.
"''Prosthetic Stars' was one of the first real songs I wrote when I moved to Los Angeles," Forest explains. "At the time, I was fresh off my party months and wanted more. Around that time, I realized the person I was seeing at the time was just a different type of distraction. In that moment, there’s no way I could have found love in another person. It’s a lot about throwing yourself into things that don’t mean much, jumping into the pool and then wondering why you’re treading water."

At the beginning of last year, Forest shared the four-track EP, Intravenous French Kiss. Featuring fan favorite track, “Braid Your Hair,” the project featured emo-tinged guitars, vulnerable reflection, and strong but whispery vocals. Permeating angst and intensity, Forest continues to push her sound to the limit.
Known for her unforgettable performances, Forest has shared the stage with bands like Starcrawler, Chokecherry, Empty Shell Casing, and more. To kick off 2026, she played the sold-out emo revival festival BurnDown in Santa Ana, CA. Later this month, Forest will begin an expansive North American tour with LA trio Clarion. ABOUT FOREST:
Wading through a slurry of distorted guitars and sultry vocals, Forest brings listeners into a world crafted from chaos and foggy dreams. Based out of Los Angeles, Forest is an alt-rock artist who blends elements of shoegaze, pop, industrial, and 90’s rock into a uniquely delicious, hook-forward sound. Vulnerable and confrontational, her songs live in a space between desire and resignation, soft confessions with deliberate intensity.
While her songwriting glows with introspection, Forest’s live shows tell a louder story. Across the West Coast, she has built a reputation for raucous, high-energy performances that turn packed rooms into chaos, inciting crowd surfers and mosh pits. The contrast of tender, intimate lyrics among the rawness of that explosive physical energy has become Forest’s signature, proving she’s just as powerful in the quiet moments as she is when she’s commanding a crowd.
Forest is currently prepping her debut album, due for release in 2026.
