Much of Billy’s brilliant start came from his debut single ‘Song That I Sing’ and follow-up track “Easier.” Still only 26 years old, his path hasn’t been straightforward. A roofer from Fife who works daily with his dad, this working-class voice learned piano sitting beside his grandmother as a child. Now grown-up, the Kirkaldy-born songwriter has big plans and his two opening songs ‘Easier’ and ‘Song That I Sing’ are bold and emotive first steps to achieving this, opening with tender notes before surging to that crushing, instantly infectious chorus.
