SIENNA MAKES HER HOT 100 DEBUT AS “DIE ON THIS HILL” BEGINS TO CLIMB

January 8, 2026 — Last night, SIENNA SPIRO brought her heart-shattering single “Die On This Hill” to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, bringing the audience to their feet and leaving her host utterly flabbergasted. SIENNA took the stage not only accompanied by piano and a string duodecet (that’s 12 players), but also wearing a stunning custom Tonight Show-inspired dress featuring a vintage shot of Johnny Carson at his desk. Watch HERE.

SIENNA’s performance transformed the stage to a place out of time as she delivered her increasingly renowned mixture of staggering vocals, palpable emotion, and immense poise — inspiring applause barely a minute into the song, and, at the end, earning a standing ovation and sincere praise from Jimmy. Not to be overlooked, her dress leant even more posterity to the moment. A collaboration between stylist Edie-Rose Cleverly and designers Ben Stone and lucaybk (dress creation) and Jack Kaplan (graphic), the one-of-one piece paid tribute to the paper and poster dresses of the ’60s.

The late-night appearance arrives as Die On This Hill continues to gain ground globally, recently giving the UK native her debut on the Billboard Hot 100, where it’s currently #69 and climbing. With over 145 million global streams to date, the ballad has also hit new peaks on Spotify’s charts: #23 in the U.S. and #47 worldwide. Part of the hit’s explosion includes the spellbinding live performances that SIENNA’s shared, including Die On This Hill (Live from Warsaw), recorded during her six-night run opening for Sam Smith’s historic “To Be Free: New York City” residency late last year.

SIENNA launches her own inaugural headlining tour of North America on March 3 at the historic Troubadour in West Hollywood — a date she added in December after tickets to her entire “The Visitor Tour” sold out within seconds. The stateside run will then conclude with back-to-back nights at New York’s Bowery Ballroom (March 17 and 18) before she proceeds to the UK and Europe. Go HERE for all ticket info and to view the full itinerary.

SIENNA was also recently shortlisted for the BRIT Awards’ highly esteemed Critics’ Choice for 2026 award. Widely seen as a barometer for the next generation of world-beating British talent, the honor’s previous winners and nominees include Adele, Dua Lipa, James Blake, Lewis Capaldi, and Sam Smith, among others who went on to achieve incredible success. SIENNA recently spoke to BBC Radio 1 about the prestigious honor and her phenomenal year in the spotlight.

Last month, SIENNA made her UK TV debut by bringing “Die On This Hill” to the iconic Later… with Jools Holland, but she’d already reached U.S. audiences at home, memorably performing the song on The TODAY Show. She was also recently featured on the cover of NOTION, named Apple Music’s Up Next UK artist for November, and landed on Vevo DSCVR’s “Artists to Watch” list for 2026. SIENNA closed out 2025 starring in Gap’s “Give Your Gift” holiday campaign, performing a soulful reinterpretation of Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb” backed by a multi-generational choir. Watch HERE.

Though just 20 years old, SIENNA has displayed exquisite command of her one-of-a-kind voice at every turn. Her debut U.S. shows in New York and Los Angeles earlier this year sold out immediately. She then expanded her real-world reach by joining multi-platinum hitmaker Teddy Swims on a phenomenal North American run, executed a fall headline tour of the UK/Europe, and returned stateside to open for Sam Smith, who invited her back to the stage for a duet of Lay Me Down.” To say that SIENNA is highly sought for her mesmerizing live performances is quickly becoming understatement.

All of this follows the early 2025 release of SIENNA’s debut EP SINK NOW, SWIM LATER. That eight-song project featured MAYBE,” a soul-baring ballad that surpassed 105 million streams, topped four viral Spotify charts across the globe, and launched her late night television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The set also delivered ORIGAMI” (one of Rolling Stone’s “Songs You Need To Know”) and BACK TO BLONDE” (which hit Pigeons & Planes’ “10 New Artists You Should Listen To This Week”). She subsequently performed the one-off single “Dream Police” on COLORSxSTUDIOS.

Made with producers like J Moon (Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa), Sol Was (SG Lewis, Beyoncé), Max Wolfgang (Kelly Clarkson, Sia), and Fred Ball (Rihanna, Jessie Ware), SINK NOW, SWIM LATER includes her debut single NEED ME — a 2024 release that captured all the right ears, prompting early co-signs from superstars like SZAMark RonsonFINNEAS, and stand out track You Stole The Show”.

SIENNA possesses the type of voice that stays with you long after her music has left the room. A DIY-minded artist who first started penning songs when she was only 10, her early influences include Frank Ocean, Etta James, Frank Sinatra, and Amy Winehouse. She soon began integrating jazz elements into her music while gently leaning toward a more contemporary sonic aesthetic. Through her new music, SIENNA is continuing to evolve. She’s figuring out before our eyes where she sits when it comes to love, femininity, and adulthood, and is building a sonic and visual world to match.
