Globally acclaimed trio CHVRCHES return with a brooding reimagining of “Addicted to Love,” their cover of the iconic Robert Palmer classic, out Friday, January 16 via Hollywood Records. The track is featured in the highly anticipated third season of Hulu’s emotionally addictive hit drama Tell Me Lies, adding an unforgettable sonic layer to the series’ emotional intensity.
“As a genuine fan of Tell Me Lies, I was so excited to watch the new season, let alone make music for it,” said CHVRCHES frontwoman Lauren Mayberry. “We were in the studio working on the new CHVRCHES album when we got the call and it was a really fun thing to get our teeth stuck into, finding the right balance of emotions - heartfelt, yet unhinged - to mirror what the show is so good at.”
The band’s contribution to the series continues with a second release: a faithful yet CHVRCHES-inflected take on The Postal Service’s signature song, “Such Great Heights,” arriving Tuesday, February 17. The song will be featured in episode eight, further cementing the band’s musical presence across the season.
Tell Me Lies Season 3 premiered yesterday on Hulu in the U.S. and Disney+ internationally, launching with the first three episodes and continuing weekly for a total of eight. Watch the official trailer HERE.
