After boldly announcing their 17-date North American The Original Skibidi Tour and unleashing viral single “COCO COPTER” last month, the boundary-pushing rave-pop collective returns with “21”. The new track features Pixl Girl, whose breakout debut “STFU” went viral after its spotlight moment on this season of American Idol.
Pixl Girl explains: “21” is a lighthearted bop, but also deeply personal. LITTLE BIG approached me to feature just before my 21st birthday, and we filmed the day after I turned 21 - so this song has truly become a time capsule of that moment in my life. In America, 21 is such a milestone. The chorus feels like counting the years I’ve been here, and though adulthood is scary, this track is a reminder to celebrate the journey. It’s for everyone stepping into adulthood - or already there - ready to sing along and embrace each year, especially the big 21. Working with LITTLE BIG was such a joy, and I learned so much collaboration with another international artist in LA. I hope you enjoy “21” as much as we did creating it.”
LA-based punk-pop-rave renegades Little Big announced their 17-date The Original Skibidi Tour, which is on sale via https://littlebig.band/tour and will start in New York on 10.22 and end on 11.14 in San Diego.
Little Big are the true originators of the word “Skibidi”, unleashing the surreal, high-octane anthem in 2018, long before 2023’s “Skibidi Toilet” phenomenon. Their “Skibidi” video has garnered over 777 million views, making it their biggest hit, while their catalog has surpassed 4 billion total views. Their 2020 single “UNO” also made history as the most-viewed video in Eurovision history, with over 296 million views.
Originally from Saint Petersburg, they unleashed their latest anti-hero: “COCO COPTER,” crashing onto the scene with a wild, no-holds-barred music video in their signature absurdist style.
Little Big was originally formed in 2013 by frontman Ilya “Ilich” Prusikin and is now driven by the explosive duo of Prusikin and vocalist Sonya Tayurskaya. Known for their absurdist visuals, satirical edge, and viral hits, the Saint Petersburg-born group has built a devoted global following, collaborating with artists like Oliver Tree, Tommy Cash, Finch Asozial, Dillon Francis, Clean Bandit, and even Sacha Baron Cohen.
In March 2022, following their outspoken opposition to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the band relocated from Moscow to Los Angeles, turning their art and platform into a powerful form of protest.
