Buzzing singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Vincent Lima announces his long-awaited debut album, To Love A Thing That Fades, out September 19 via Island Records. Following the release of the first single back in 2023, the album has been a long time coming. Now, Lima is finally ready to share the full story.

Alongside the announcement, he releases “Fair To You” - Listen Here. The track’s gentle guitar and soft piano accompany his stirring vocal delivery. Cello transmissions uplift the emotionally charged refrain where he confesses, “There’s something in my heart that makes me want to run away,” going on to ask, “Is that fair to you?”

On the track, Vincent states, “The song is my way of questioning the fairness of reliance. I have lived and loved enough in my life to realize that the deepest love is often times the simple act of reception. To understand there is a burden too heavy for one person to carry. And to create a place where the weight of that burden becomes a little lighter. This is for one person to question the burden of love. And this is for the other to receive that love. This is ‘Fair To You.’”

“Fair To You” follows Something Sweet,” his first release of 2025 and his official debut for Island Records.

Alongside his two newest singles, the album will feature fan favorites such as “The Fire” and “Orpheus,” which both boast over 11 million streams on Spotify.

About Vincent Lima:

Vincent Lima has unassumingly captured the attention of a growing fanbase by unapologetically oversharing in the kinds of lyrics that strike a deep chord and make you feel a little uncomfortable (in a good way) and less alone all at once. He independently served up projects such as The Man by the Coast EP [2021] and Versions of Uncertainty EP [2024] and generated tens of millions of streams across “The Fire,” “Orpheus, and more. Signing to Island Records, he kicks off his next era with his debut album To Love A Thing That Fades.
