BOB MOULD TO BE IN CONVERSATION WITH FRED ARMISEN AT THE GRAMMY MUSEUM’S CLIVE DAVIS THEATRE ON AUGUST 25

US TOUR SOLO DATES BEGIN JULY 30

Bob Mould will be at The Grammy Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater on August 25 for a conversation with comedian/writer/musician and music fan Fred Armisen. In addition to discussing his most recent work, his 15th solo album, the critically acclaimed Here We Go Crazy, the conversation will cover Bob’s extensive 45+ year career making iconic music in the punk/indie space as founder of Hüsker Dü, Sugar and his prolific solo output.  Bob will also perform songs at the event, in a truly one-of-a-kind showcase for fans.

Before that, Mould will embark on a solo electric tour starting on July 30. The dates are in support of the aforementioned Here We Go Crazy, which Mould released earlier this year on BMG and was lauded in Rolling Stone with a four star review and had the NY Times writing that the album “finds the one time Hüsker Dü and Sugar frontman piling on the sort of speedy riffs, dead-center hooks and scream-of consciousness lyrics that have defined much of Mould’s nearly 50-year career.”

Besides releasing the new album, this past May saw Mould, whose music career began when as a student at Macalester College he formed Hüsker Dü, deliver the keynote address at that school’s commencement where he also received an honorary degree in “Doctor Of Humane Letters.”

Mould’s solo electric tour will continue in the US through mid-October, with support from special guests J. Robbins (solo), The Baseball Project, Loose Cattle, and David Barbe before heading overseas for a UK/EU run with both solo and full band performances, as well as special guest Che Arthur opening select dates.
