HOUSTON, TX – Black Queer AF (BQAF) Week 2025 is turning up the heat. The Normal Anomaly Initiative is thrilled to announce an electrifying update to the already groundbreaking BQAF Music Festival lineup: JT, the powerhouse rapper, cultural icon, and LGBTQ+ ally, will headline the BQAF main stage on Saturday, May 3rd in Houston, Texas. 

JT is a cultural force who embodies Black excellence. As one half of the trailblazing duo City Girls, JT has emerged as a solo artist who commands attention with every verse, every look, and every move. Her presence at BQAF is more than a performance, it’s a cultural moment. She brings unmatched energy, boldness, and visibility to a festival that was already making history.

Her headlining set is expected to bring even more energy to a lineup already packed with heat, including KenTheMan, Asher HaVon, Sevndeep, JeRonelle, and Milira Jones, each a force in their own right.

As previously announced, BQAF Week 2025 takes place from April 26 – May 4 in Houston, TX, under the banner of this year’s theme: "VISIBILITY." From the iconic BQAF WomXn’s Sneaker Ball to the electric BQAFaganza Drag University Competition, the week-long experience centers and uplifts the Black queer+ experience in bold, unforgettable ways.
