(December 5, 2025 – Santa Monica, CA) On December 4, 2015, Troye Sivan embarked on a remarkable journey with the release of his debut album Blue Neighbourhood. That evening, he made his U.S. television debut, performing lead single “YOUTH” on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” In the decade that followed, he established himself as a global icon in the worlds of pop music, culture, fashion and LGBTQIA+ representation, amassing over 26 billion combined global streams and earning three GRAMMY® nominations in the process. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the album that started it all, Capitol Records will release Blue Neighbourhood – Ten Years On on February 13, 2026.
The limited-edition album, which features a brand-new, reimagined illustrated cover from original illustrator Hsiao-Ron Cheng, is now available for pre-order HERE in vinyl, CD, and cassette formats. The vinyl gatefold edition features two vinyl discs – one in opaque blush pink, the other in opaque pale blue –plus an exclusive poster. See below for track listing.
Blue Neighbourhood – Ten Years On features two fan favorites that were not on the original album: “Strawberries & Cigarettes” and “Swimming Pools.” Written during Sivan’s Blue Neighbourhood era, “Strawberries & Cigarettes” was from the 2018 film and soundtrack Love, Simon. The Gold-certified sleeper hit has racked up over one billion combined global streams. “Swimming Pools” was from the same period and only available on a physical edition of a retail exclusive version of the album until now.
BLUE NEIGHBOURHOOD also includes the breakthrough singles “WILD,” “FOOLS” and “TALK ME DOWN,” which were brought to life in the Blue Neighbourhood trilogy film. View HERE.
Speaking of BLUE NEIGHBOURHOOD in 2015, Sivan said, “It’s all autobiographical. It takes place in both the suburbs of Perth where I’ve grown up, which I consider to be my blue neighbourhood, but then also in this fast-paced, crazy, whirlwind life that I’m now living in hotel rooms and planes. And it takes place inside the mind of a 20-year-old kid. I wanted to make sure that youthfulness was there…”
Combined global streams of BLUE NEIGHBOURHOOD have surpassed 6.5 billion. The album, which topped the iTunes charts in 66 countries and debuted in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, has been certified Platinum in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. “YOUTH” is 2x Platinum in the U.S. while “WILD” is certified Platinum and “FOOLS” and “TALK ME DOWN” are certified Gold.
The New York Times hailed Sivan as a “prototype for tomorrow’s global pop star” and Associated Press named Blue Neighbourhood as the No. 1 album of 2015. The FADER observed, “The songs are not the light and frivolous party anthems that many young pop stars often launch their careers with, but deeper meditations on lust and loss.
