For New York-based post-hardcore band dweller. creating music has been a cathartic release, addressing stages of grief on their 2023 breakout EP, All The Things We Carry and bringing awareness to global issues on latest single “Make Home.” Today, the band share a cinematic track for the ends times with “Caught In The Light.” Produced, mixed, and mastered by Adam Cichocki at Timber Studio, the track is four and a half minutes of loud emotional noise that feels like the end of the world. The song sways between bursting guitars and lush atmospheres as vocals shift between soft spoken and powerfully delivered, allowing the full scope of love and uncertainty to come across.
The video for “Caught In The Light” was directed and edited by vocalist and film maker Juan Aguilar, depicting reactions to a catastrophic event looming over the city and the final impact.
